Biggest thing I’ve learned is that “ I’ve been putting myself in a box.” I didn’t even know I was doing that😂💯 when drew was talking about how he started thinking “too realistic” about himself making the league, subconsciously I’ve been doing the same. This year I went to my first ever individual workout prior to this I never played ball in high school nor aau but I’m decent. When I was doing this workout the trainer had me doing simple things like dribbling passing out of snaking a screen coming back around and shooting the ball etc. and to myself I thought “damn do I really want to do this. I can’t make the league like this etc.” since that workout I haven’t been back as of right now I know that this is a actual grind and the type of mentality you have to have is a “never quit mentality”. Best believe I’m going to do my part from now on thanks pjf and thanks drew Hanley this changed my perspective on what it takes.

Paul, let's make the podcast with Knees Over Toes Guy (Ben Patrick) happen! I've watched all of you videos and seen multiple requests. Here it is from the horses mouth. I've asked Ben Patrick and he is in. The Petie Project 49 minutes ago Ben, would you ever consider a podcast with Paul Fabritz from PJF performance? I know you guys have very different training modalities for basketball but I think it would provide a lot of benefit to both audiences to hear you guys talk about where you overlap and where you take different approaches and why. The Kneesovertoesguy Highlighted reply The Kneesovertoesguy 6 minutes ago Would love to, of course! Anyone who knows Paul can tell him I'm in, any time. Up to Paul. 1

I like PJF but unfortunately it seems he's going the competitor/indirect-reference-to-all-KnOTGuy-popular-videos route. Stupid really, they'll both make money either way. PJF should just backtrack/elaborate on his demonisation of stretching/RoM and they should collab. Inevitable advances in sports science should just humble us all and teach us to not be dogmatic. The goal should be the betterment of as many people as possible...

@@carlfeliciano988 His workouts require his players to be extremely methodical and focus on the quality of the rep rather than the amount of reps. I didn't have the focus at the time when he came and did a session in my city. I got frustrated because of that. I'm trying to hoop in college next year and I realize how focused work is so much better than just getting shots up. I workout for less time but am 5x more methodical and the results are amazing.

I wouldn’t do it again because you need a new stimulus. I would do it later in the year like November or maybe next year. Try speed code. If you got knee pain, it’s likely caused by the ankles. Maybe improve your ankle inversion/reversion and strengthen the posterior tibialis
