035. Referred Otalgia pathway  

Hello mam, great information. My mom had the right lower second molar pain and root canal done for the same. After 3 months of this procedure she c/o increased sensitivity of gingiva and all teeth, then started right upper molar (2nd) pain on second day which got referred to right side of face, ear , took to dentist, done xray found cavity , dentist gave antibiotics and painkiller and gave appointment for root canal., bcz of meds her dental pain stopped but again pain started to opposite site i.e. left earache, and jaw, and she c/o left u/ l tongue burning sensation, pain ( she cannot explain it properly) but it's u/l tongue that's sure of . She is 70 yr, I visited ent she gave carbamazepine, and acenac p. After 7 days treatment pain went for one day and again emerged. What to do ? What is the cause? Pz give your valuable inputs
