I ran carberry on my 03 and now I have an 04. I know you can swap ECU's but did you only do it for that? the 04 32bit is so much better all around vs the 16bit 02-03
it may be a better unit but switching to speed density mapping was the best thing I ever did for my wrx with that set up. when done right it's magical hahaha.
i have a speed density map with launch control and antilag with switch button.. but i dont have able the maf sensor... i want to back to stock... because i hate the idle of the car is so disgusting... want to keep the antilag/launch control...
@@Pipemoscoso12 I kept my MAF sensor and used it for the IAT sensor. I didnt have mine set up with a switch. It just functioned like any launch control. Clutch in and put your foot in the firewall haha. To go back to stock you should just be able to run you stock ecu as long as the map is correct for your set up. I dont think you can do this type of launch control on a factory ecu though. I'd consult with your tuner on that one. Hope that helps.
Your right but I was able to swap in a 2003 ecu and upload the speed densitt map. Super simple and very worth it. I need to make a new video of the current power. I have recently walked a 2002 6 speed corvette and 2015 challenger rt (no surprise there haha they are slow)
+Mario McBride It's by far the best mod I've done. you will need to relocate you iat to the throttle body or close to it as to get accurate measurements. so swap ecu tap and place iat and tune.
