how many sound means count like 250HZ to 8000KHZ time tone will hear by persona 6 count sound for each ear or more 6 will be there kindly let me know. according to indian standard.

Mujhe last 6th month se right ear se phone pe baat karne me sunai nahi deta hai maine nanda medical center me dikhaya unhone pure tone audiometry Tympanometry Keliye kaha hai but test kahan hoga ye nahi bataya

A hearing test is to be performed only by a qualified audiometrist or audiologist. Anything done by any other person, even an ENT will not be accepted. This is a violation of rules. Just putting this information out there as a concerned audiologist.

I can understand your concern. Dont worry 😀, Knowledge to perform and interpret various audiometric tests are among core competencies of ENT residents.It is usually asked as OSCE in National Board Examinations. Knowledge of interpretation of various audiometric tests are also essential for ENT undergraduates. ENT consultants can perform tests essential for patient care ,but certification is to be done by RCI approved Audiologist - is the rule in India.

@@DrSujathasENTClassesNothing personal to you and what you are doing. I commend you for your initiative. It is definitely informative. I absolutely understand that it has to be taught so that they can interpret audiograms. But that doesn't happen everywhere, I have seen ENT s perform audiometry and mark it completely wrong that causes hassles to patients.There has to be a rule to make sure we each stick to what we are trained to do . Same goes for auds who work with ENT, I have seen a few recommend medication without referring them back to the ENT. Which I also am completely against. So I guess maybe creating more general awareness and open discussions among professionals will go a long way Thanks for the healthy discussion. ☺️ Looking forward to more of your videos.
