In adult life, the normal mastoid may be fully pneumatized, diploic (partial pneumatized), or sclerotic (non pneumatized). It is DIPLOIC and please correct it,as mispelled as diplotic in video

In modified stenvers view , the coiled part above the reciever stimulator is implant coil/ antenna with magnet. It is wrongly mentioned as electrode array.

How to identity... It is post operative cavity.... How to identify smooth cavity.... There are so many d/d of smooth mastoid cavity

In Xray, common causes of cavity in mastoid is postoperated/cholesteatoma/bone eroding lesions. Look to the margins of cavity ( I explained that in this video). If outline is smooth it can be post mastoidectomy /cholesteatoma. Why because ,With mastoid cutting and polishing burr ,we get a smooth walled cavity. Also,as cholesteatoma causes bone erosion mainly by expansion,it is again smooth walled,but infection causes surrounding sclerosis,which is visible in radiology.

Yes.Oh sorry. I wrongly said as ball n socket joint.TMJ is a ginglymoarthrodial joint, a term that is derived from ginglymus, meaning a hinge joint, allowing motion only backward and forward in one plane, and arthrodia, meaning a joint of which permits a gliding motion of the surfaces. Thank you for pointing out this.
