Just like all religions there are different denominations and in those denominations they don't all believe the exact same things. My family are reform Jews, therefore I am accepted as Jewish, even though my Mom is not Jewish. As far as my DNA goes I am more Ashkenazi Jewish than any other ethnicity. 50% Ashkenazi Jewish. Being a Jew, is not the same as a Judahite. The Jews were those of the Southern Kingdom of Judea. There were members of all 12 tribes there.
