Jesus the Christ is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life...

Thank you Marlou, Robert and Martin. I just read today's devotion in Christ Triumphant... The last paragraph on page 155 states; (speaking of the building of the temple in Jerusalem in Solomon's time) Even so, the mighty cleaver of truth has taken out a people from the quarry of the world and is fitting this people, who profess to be the children of God, for a place in His heavenly temple. We want the cleaver of truth to do it's work for us... We are here as probationers, and we must pass under the hand of God. All rough edges and rough surfaces must be removed, and we must be stones fitted for the building. We are brought into church capacity with defects of character, but we must not retain them. We must be fitted and squared for the building. We must be 'labourers together with God', for we are 'God's husbandry'. We are 'God's building'. In view of this we must see that the temple is not defiled with sin. We should e lively stones, not dead ones, but live ones that will reflect the image of Christ. We must be worshipers in spirit and in truth. (Manuscript Releases, vol 3pp230-232; Manuscript 49 1886. I hope this is helpful Jenny. I too have friends in other churches and family members who choose not to believe God's word as it is written. I have been accused of having 'my interpretation' when I simply quoted word for word the manner of Christ's return (1 Thess 4:13-17). My sister also believes we'll have 1000 years on earth after Jesus returns. My only thoughts on this matter are that God has allowed their minds to be darkened because they have chosen to believe a lie. Hopefully when the loud cry is made they will wake up and realise we have been speaking the truth all along. There are things my family deny (such as a Sunday law) which, when in happens they might think, hey that's what she's being saying for years!!! Maybe she's right! My thoughts and prayers are with you. I pray God will soften the hearts of those who are sincere, tho sincerely wrong, to wake up and understand the truth.

I've never understood all this rebuilding the temple obsession by all of my reading of the Bible, uneducated as i am. It clearly says that His Kingdom Temple will be coming down from heaven. I've found no prophecy indicating a temple after Jesus/Yeshua's resurrection built with hands.

Such a blessing to hear both generations come together to discuss the truth of Jesus and his written word. To see the actual place Jesus walked and preached his beloved Israel & to see how stuck in the past they are is saddening especially worshiping a stone wall trapped in idolatry placing that above Our God who is the way the light and the truth makes me so sad. It makes me even sadder to see that still they believe that they are above all & cannot look at others as they believe everyone but them are unclean ….. being still stuck in legalism as they were when Jesus walked among them is even sadder. Thank you for standing on truth and not following in one of the great deceptions of our day. The bible says it well in Rom. 10:12, Col.3:11 and Gal.3:28. Jesus clearly told the Jews just before He was crucified that God had left their temple and it was of mans now.

In response to the “Third Temple” I found this verse that satisfies me when talking about the New Jerusalem: Revelation 21: 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Cheers, John

The fact that God ripped the Temple Curtain that separated the Holy from the Most Holy at the time when Jesus was crucified and died is proof enough to show that the type met anti-type. The man made temple was designed to lead us to the understanding that Jesus/God was going to die for our sins. When He died there was/is no need anymore for an earthly sanctuary. It's purpose was fulfilled in Jesus' sacrifice.

Brethren, consider Eze.chpt.37 : 15-28.

What is the purpose of build a 3rd temple. What is the evangelical thinking. 1 - it seems they are focusing on the physical Israel. Instead of Jesus. 2 - are they back to sacrificial system again. If they do that - are they disregarding Jesus death on the cross? Isn’t that the purpose of his dying on the cross to put an end to sacrificial systems? Probably that’s why he said your house left you desolate.

In Portland, Oregon USA, my eyes have seen the people mentioned in Luke 14:21, wondering aimlessly through the streets, having no where to go, eating out of trash cans, inter alia. What can the body of Christ do to comply with the progression of 14:17, 21 and:23? In light of What's up Prof 201? Can you talk about the mobilization of the body of Christ complying with 14:23? Should not land be rented in the cities of every country, tents be thrown together and the body of Christ mobilized like the mighty army it is, prepared to satisfy the needs of the people of 14:21, and giant screens piping in the LORD's urgent pleadings of 14:23?

Many times I have tried to understand how persistent are these Evangelicals in wanting to believe a lie. Why would anyone want a kingdom made by humans. Have they truly read their Bible? I doubt it because the Bible doesn’t say anything about a third temple.

I mean we love Christ and like the apostles, we will give our life if need be

Illegal to say Jesus in Israel
