How to remove your radio in a 06 dodge ram. Also what wire is connected to the dimmer switch. This where I wired in my led. Blue Gel Sheet #74 "Night Blue" RoscoLux Gel
Why can't everyone's videos be short and sweet, down to the bone, like this one?? No one wants to waste their lives away watching someone undoing a freakin screw...! Job WELL DONE! Thank you, sir!
Thank you for posting such a great video. I used them today to get to and replace the auxiliary power outlet on my girlfriend‘s 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. Her truck was an exact match. Every screw was exactly where you pointed out in your video. It was a great help. Thanks again.
Wow! Short and sweet, to the point, and no babbling. This should be a model for all 'how to' videos/shows. Oh, and thanks for the insight behind the the major trim piece, didn't know exactly where to grab a hold of it.
I've swapped out my stock radio already but didnt know where the screws were, but this video is a big headache relief.... and its also the same way for the the 6-speed manual transmission...
Thank you. This was a big help in installing an iPod cable in to the stock radio/gps in my 3500 Mega cab. It took about an hour and would have taken much longer if I had to figure it out for myself. My thanks to you and all who take the time to post these instructional vids.
My 8mm bolts were covered in dirt so I had to scrape clean. Then hook my back to a McDonald’s straw with a tape ball reducer to clean. So 45 minutes. Thanks for the great video.
i almost broke the face plate thinking it was going to pop out.. thanx for the video helped out alot. saved me time and money by goin to someone for them to pop it out.. thanx alot
Pro tip for you guys also, Once you have done this once if you’d like to never have to do it again to simply remove the radio dash part by pulling on it like he did at the end of the video then do not reinstall the final two screws when you put it all back together
Sword of Zeus! Cause there are some models of the ram that require the lower portion to be removed to access the screws .... just did it tonight on my 2006 ram
@BigBalthazor have you ever had any problems with the lights on you heat controls.? mine are half working right now and sometimes if you flick the heat controls with your finger they turn on for and work for a few days then slowly go out, the flick trick doesnt seem to work anymore, any sugesttions? replace the bulbs maybe?
Cool video! I've had a weird issue with my volume not being able to turn up past 1. My radio will turn on and everything, but the volume won't adjust. You know what that might be? Also my cruise control only works between 66-73mph which is really weird?!
Question for you- all the aftermarket stereos are just a rectangle how will they mount on the ram with the volume and tuner knobs cutting out off the sides?
I was hoping you could help me with a question that I have on my truck. The high beam blue light indicator is extremely bright and irritating at night. Is there a way to get a dimmer bulb or a way to dim it somehow??? Thank you.
If I pull any harder on that upper section it is going to break my dash into pieces. I have tried wedging it off with screw drivers and everything else I can think of. That upper section will not come off. This does not work.
Is there a radio wire diagram label on the radio by any chance?? before i just pull the radio out?? I have a single cab 07 dodge, and since there are soo many models of dodges out there, really hard to find a proper wiring diagram online.
I took my radio out and it obviously left a huge gap I accidentally put my ring there and forgot about it now I can’t get it out any help on how I could get it ?
