Bubba will always be my favourite, you'd be watching it thinking there's no way he can pass there two evenly matched and then he pulls out his ace card and slams the pegs onto the face of the jump, ledgend
This was when four strokes were in contention. Friend of mine had a 426 when it first came out. I still would take a fresh 2 stroke 125 over any 4 stroke. My 2000 CR 125 would run circles around em. The trick with a 2 stroke is to take care of it. Clean and oil your filter. Replace the piston rings every 25 hours. Which equals a year or two. Piston??? Not worth it unless you’re doing an overhaul. If you are, get an aftermarket exhaust, and bring it to someone that can jet your carb properly. After that, you’ll be lucky to hang on. Oh yeah, get a good set of bars, Renthal. They will save you a broken sternum.
To those that haven’t witnessed a race like this. It’s like they’re defying gravity. To go into the face of a jump going way too fast is scary enough. To hit the brakes a microsecond before you preload your suspension as your body absorbs all 300 lbs or so of that thing between your legs. Not including the weight of your balls. I’ll tell you what, it’s a trip. And the most physically demanding thing I have ever done. Aside from slalom waterskiing and barefooting. That sheet is a force to be reckoned with.
Facts, bubba destroyed ricky indoors, and he was arguably better than ricky outdoors. "We need ricky got the most wins outdoors... I get it", however bubba was the fastest and also the most skilled rider eva!
It's sad to think about how in a few years, the 2 strokes will be completely out of production. There are no 2 stroke quads in production anymore. It's sad to know that in 20 or 30 years you won't even hear a 2 stroke.
Facts! Bubba definitely was the best indoors however, although ricky got more wins outdoors, bubba still was the fastest and the most skilled rider overall... ever!!!
i heard a rumor that they would be allowing them to ride bigger 2-strokes in supercross and motocross so you would be able to ride like a ktm 300. if true it might bring back 2 strokes and other companies might start makin them. but idk if there is any truth to it
3 times last outdoor season he had the fastest laps of the day! not his class, age group, team, nothing. everyone out their, whether it be 250F's or 450s. and u see the mx des nations? he beat RC and chad reed (even tho RC fell early) on his KX250F, aswell as everyone else out their on 450's, he got 1st in both his motos. nobody has shit on that kinda skill. and if stewart keeps up on the injuries and dropping out of seasons (which can be unavoidable) he ain't gonna set ANY records AT ALL
okay, is that why Carmichael beat stewart 4 championships in a row? I bet you must have been miserable between 05-07 watching Carmichael destroy stewart. and Stewart is never going to pass Carmichael in wins since he's not racing a full outdoor series, so you can forget about that, KRAMREAD.
@@MyName-yl2nc my perspective on a lot of things has changed since 13 years ago… James does have more supercross wins (a handful - took more seasons to do it) but no one will ever touch Ricky in moto + supercross combined wins. Ricky as a racer he got it done and ultimately beat James in each of those championships. Personally I think James Stewart had a larger impact on the sport than Ricky did (and Ricky’s impact was huge obviously), and ultimately no one really gives a shit about the number of wins. People will remember James Stewart longer than Ricky IMO
No you need to do some research, lmao what are you 10? they BOTH have huge unputs on what goes on either, I wouldnt doubt that hes riding a Kawi with Suzuki plastic, Both are the same company
