Again, thanks for the kind words. I accepted Christ as my savior in the spring of 1970. (I was 5 years old!) My father drove a bus and we were so far away from the church that we kept the bus all day and returned it in time for the evening service. (As a lot of drivers did) Dr. John had a profound affect on me.

@@LandmarkBaptistTmple I just turned on my notifications, I had thought they were on, all this time! Indeed, my Dad drove a bus too. Not for sure how long at Landmark though, we ended up moving to the Deer Park area and later attended Deer Park Baptist where my Dad continued helping in the bus ministry. I would still run over to Landmark either in the morning or evening services to hear Brother John throughout the 90's till he left Landmark. Small world indeed. I remember my Grandpa telling me "There's *always* someone watching you." Looking back, I believe it came from this sermon. My grandparents, on both sides of the family, came from the old Lockland Baptist Church, lots of history in that old church. We are close in age, I was born in 66. :o)
