Rotary International is an organization built on the principle of peace. All Rotary's service projects, all their fundraising, all their interactions in the world are done with peace as a goal and a way of operating. Therefore, Boulder Rotary Club celebrated the 2024 International Day of Peace with several activities throughout Boulder and an extended program featuring music by Rebecca Folsom, a talk by author, professor and peace builder Dr. John Paul Lederach, presentation of the 5th Annual Jim Swaeby Peace Award and a program by the President of Naropa University, Dr. Charles Lief on Naropa's 50 year journey as a contemplative education institution in Boulder.
