Iplayed this at our women's group at church and they were blown away at the expression of worship and adoration to Jesus Christ. One elder had tears streaming down her face. God gave Mariah as a gift for all the world to see and here we are, enjoying this precious gift. You can hear the love of music in Mariah's voice. This brings me to tears every time. The power and the glory in the voice of Mariah, with her mom and the choir. It truly sounds like the heavenly chorus, angels singing in glory and exaltation. Hallelujah

Kenneth Mack the difference is that Dubbed is when you sing live but they change the audio of your voice, like what the live audience hears is different than what the cyber audience hears, you know what I mean? pathetic ears you all have!!! she has got one of the most unique voices on earth ever, it is all live, her voice is raspy on her low and middle tone her chest register and mixed register are raspy and sounds struggling sometimes but when she hits her high head tones that when her voice becomes not raspy and more open and sometimes sounds like lypsynching but totally not....her voice is one of a kind during live performances....

She sounds flawless here and this is one of her hardest songs to sing with all those shifts between chest voice, head voice, and whistle tone so fucking quickly. I don't know how she does it without turning blue and falling over. Props her.

Though I absolutely love this song, I can barely watch this video - because 2:06 - 2:16 is almost too much to watch without me getting emotional. It is absolutely beautiful, and no matter what Mariah and her mom have gone through, I hope they (and Mariah's children specifically) can find the absolute beautiful nature of...that. It is OVERWHELMING to watch and listen to. It is glorious.

I believe there are still tens of millions of people around the world who truly appreciate the amazingness of Mariah’s talents. And it looks like she is a musical legend who will not die in a tragic way and leave us suddenly, like some of the other musical legends (Michael & Whitney) born in the same era, and will leave the world ultimately with an amazing musical legacy in the form of her music & performances that can be enjoyed for eternity.
I watched the entire special and was blown away! Outstanding performance on every song. My favorite was the duet with her Mom (wonderful voice) and that note at the end that went through the stratosphere. It brings tears to my eyes. What an amazing gift you have Ms. Carey! Thank you for RESPECTING your gift and sharing it. Merry Christmas....and I wish you and Mr. Cannon a healthy and happy baby. The best in 2011.
