Missed getting last 2 videos. Going to try start Sunday. Had my first great day this year. Fibromyalgia has been really bad this year. My PT will like me to try these. Thank you again.
I love what u post on here Dr. A.I really trust what you say as you both care and are an expert in this field... and u bother.... personally tricky to find all these traits in one profesional!!
Thank you for these videos. I started on Tuesday with the gentle stretching video, and yesterday I felt better so I added this low intensity cardio and am doing the same 2 again today. I feel so much better already! Thank you again from a fibromyalgia sufferer! You have saved me from unrelenting pain.
Thank you for this comment. I'm glad to hear that you improved. Please make sure you talk to your doctor. Consider subscribing to this channel. I have many other videos that you might find useful.
Thank you for your great effort. It is really good that now we can have a leader who can lead our training in fibromyalgia but it would have been better if you had tried to do each movement in a more correct ergonomy position. Maybe by getting help and observation of a good aerobics instructor. For example the squats movements were not performed correctly, which may cause injury to the knees.
Have you seen my most recent video? I interviewed Fiona, a woman who had fibromyalgia for 25 years, and she is now pain-free for the past 4 years. You may watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DaLSRag7uCE.html

I would like to know where one could get the folding mat that you are using in this video ? Thanks for the education that you are giving to all of us !
Peace be upon you. I have erosion of cartilage in my knees. I am 26 years old. I had PRP injections in them and the pain did not go away. Can I start exercises or a program that I can follow? Thank you
Hi Khalid. It is really important that you see a physiotherapist. The physiotherapist will examine your specific situation and tell you what you can and cannot do. These videos are for educational purposes only. Now that you are more knowledgeable about your condition and the types of exercises you could be doing, it will be much easier for you to discuss with your physiotherapist. You will understand what they are saying, and why they are recommending one exercise and not the other one. I think that patients who are more knowledgeable about their options are much better to adhere to the treatment recommendations. That is the ultimate goal of these videos, that you can discuss with your health care professional and be a partner in the decisions.
I am struggling with wearing shoes for exercise and therapy due to crps in feet, what kind of shoes would you recommend in place of sneakers to do exercise safely? thank you!
Hi Linda. I feel that I need to do a video about that. People with CRPS have hyper sensitivity to touch and it is hard for them to wear any sock or shoe. There are some de-sensitization techniques that make this better.
@@DrAndreaFurlan Thank you Dr. Furlan! Yes my therapists introduced me to some de-sensitization techniques, I have used them for almost a year. Those techniques do help and many could benefit from them. I do experience nausea when doing those, but they do help and others may not experience that side effect.
If anyone here has experienced CRPS and has recommendations for brands of shoes that work for them .please feel free to reach out or post. I have tried to buy open toe shoes, but more structure is needed for exercise and some slip resistance. It has been difficult to find good shoes . Thank you to all who read and share!
