This is great news, but I think the biggest word in the whole vid for me is "potential". Developers still have to opt in. I'm using Steam and GFN and there are still chunks of my library not on GFN. I'd love to see a solid A la carte service where all of My library is available both cloud and locally.
This gives me an idea... what if before games are removed. Players themselves get to vote. What games stay and go? Maybe this could happen with what games have the highest player base? Or just a voting thing monthly.
I just started playing luna because fallout new vegas is free at the moment. So far it's awesome. When fallout games expire on Oct 10. Are they added to the library of gog games you can buy on luna? I went to the gog store and bought those fallout games because they where on sale . I look at my luna account but they don't say I own them. Is that because they are free at the moment?
"... in a partnership that could potentially result in over 10,000 video games coming to Amazon Luna...." Yet you'll still only get 5 sh*tty games if you just go with your Amazon Prime membership and don't subscribe to the various other packages? =)
You do realize that you also get access to games you own that are available on Luna with just a Prime membership right? It isn't just the rotating monthly games
@@cloudknight6128 I don't own any games on Amazon Prime. Not gonna' pay for something if I don't know if the system's any good. Not gonna' play the 5 games they got 'cause they're garbage that we've never even played on our Xbox. Only reason I even looked into Prime Gaming is because I finally got my Stadia controller updated to bluetooth and wanted to test it out to see if it worked. Sadly, nothing worth testing it out on. Thanks for nothin', Amazon. =)
