I KNEW I DIDN'T TRUST THAT BILLET DRAIN PLUG!!! When I changed the oil on my 350 I was gonna replace the factory plastic plug with the Billet one. I put in the Billet plug and it just felt wayy too loose and not secure enough. I put the plastic one back on instead. I was kinda irritated that I wasted $70 on a drain plug but now I'm glad I went with my gut.

BTW Plastic screwed into plastic is the best option. The 2 different components heat up at different rates.. The plastic pan was probably expanded while the plug was not.

Go for a dry sump system, it will reduce positive crank case pressure and should keep that from ever happening again, in some cases you can get negative crank case pressure

I blew my oil pan gasket out at 140 mph and climbing quickly due to excessive crank case pressure on Micky Thompson et street r tires LUCKILY NOT A DROP hit the tires !! Went all over the under body and by the grace of god not a drop hit the tires

At least it’s better than what I thought happened when I saw it oil dripping I thought it bottomed out and smacked a hole in the turbos glad it’s just the oil pan

Use Ford 357 sealant and throw an expanded pan on it with a threaded plug lol also make sure you let the crank case drain over night before you re seal it

This is why my 2017 GT is still stock with 9,360 miles on her.. I feel for this guy and live vicariously through people like this.. But, I don't have an extra $20/$30K laying around for Boost. The super charger guys don't throw more than 10/15lbs at these motor's for safe daily use even at the track they try to stay at like 15lbs...
