Theoretically slower, but in practice it doesn't really matter with the power/torque curve in the 650S, low revs are pretty forgiving in this car. It matters more in some other GT3 cars with a tighter power curve. Practically the difference in power output in this car is pretty small and using fewer gears avoids unsettling the car on upshift at awkward points of the lap, which on this track can cost a lot of time, since at Brands Hatch carrying the speed is really important. Really more than anything it's just a tradeoff about personal driving style, I try to drive the 650s quite smoothly and the gears help a lot with that :-) Also, nice videos!
