Seeing all these old paint schemes reminds me of watching NASCAR on the couch with my dad when I was younger. Damn I miss you dad. I love these videos.
Interesting! I love it! I wish I had one of these when I was a kid growing up, with all of my friends, whom have passed, no doubt we would've been betting dimes or quarters on this game! Good clean fun for kids for hours and days.. we were so into nascar grand national racing back in the early and mid 70's.. so much fun to see this video! Thanks!
@@Stackbou My suggestions? By letting them race man to man, like it always has been.... We all know NASCAR is going to call a caution towards the end of every damn race, to reshuffle the deck, and build manufactured excitement...… And they went WOKE, and that's never helped anyone, especially NASCAR fans! They banned the damn rebel flags that have always flown at southern racetracks, and by proud southerners attending. *Including my black buddy Dana, who's been to MANY races, and has zero problem with it* !!! NASCAR died when Dale died. And for the love of God, stop using football terms! (The prissy, rich wives attending still won't gain any understanding from it....) Son of a bitch, what did y'all do to NASCAR???
less beta drama from uppity drivers, less politics and ideologies... ? I'm sure we can all come up with endless reasons, NASCURR has gotten a little sideways overall.
Hey ghost jerker I have some advice for the diecast racing if you ever do it again. I’ve found that if you let the cars go right at the start instead of holding them until full speed, more cars survive and there’s some pretty good racing and also maybe start them at the back so if they do crash at the start they won’t go flying off immediately it will give them a sort of 3rd chance
You should absolutely do this again! Not only was it fun to watch, but you could use the treadmill to race the cars that normally don’t work on tracks, like Anteater, and cars that scrape against the curves of loops/the 6 lane like Monoposto does
This is great. My recommendation is to have a bar on the back bumper that lifts up so it will eliminate the human condition of the race. This bar can be moved depending on where you start the race. Keep the finger tap for the ones on the back, but the bar lift if kinda needed. Keep up the good work! 🏎🚗
Crazy how satisfying this was to watch! Even more than the real races. What happens if you start them at the back of the track? Oh, I subbed too! Looks like a lot of fun.
Very cool race. Always great content. Not sure how much I like having a car in the second row. Almost too much of a handicap. Hot wheels on the treadmill would be awesome!!
Try experimenting by raising the right side of the treadmill to create banking. This may "encourage" the cars to move toward the same side of the track, creating more contact by the leaders while reducing the potential that cars will run side by side at the front of the treadmill. High banking for Talladega type tracks and low banking for Phoenix type tracks. Just a thought...
Put a fan at the front of the treadmill so we can see some slingshots and real bump drafts - love how half of these races looked like Talladega or Daytona.
I could say what Doc Hudson said in Cars 3. "It wasn't a race, at most a car ride, a single lap, the race consists of 500 of these. Everyone wants to push forward, lap after lap, inches apart without colliding. This is the race!"
This was great, next time you should start the big heats at the back too just to let some of the fast cars that get back row draws a chance to pass before they get wrecked off the back
I was just so happy to see my very first public guess win I was so excited to see the 4 make it all the way and a heck of a race that was all the way through the day and good luck to everyone in the future
Honestly thought with the amount of times the 28 wrecked how he beats the 75 I really wanted that one to win isn't a really commonly used number in NASCAR
Would you please upload a super 6 lane king of the hill get 216 cars get the mega graphics funny car before you let’s go pickin but this channel gonna be ghostjerker upload new video super 6 lane king of the hill get the GoPro car
It's amazing that Jeff Gordon was able to drift in the wrong direction of the turn for the majority of the race and not only keep up, but also not blow his tires.
I'm not sure what's worse. The fact your actually racing diecast on a treadmill for fun or that I'm in my car watching yelling for certain cars to win LMAO
This was AWESOME!!!!! Should toss a microcontroller and some steering in those cars, and race like that with the ability to steer. That would be even more cool.
Definitely go with controllers and make it like a slot car race but without the ‘slot’. And add the treadmill banking like others suggested. This could be the start of a new RC Car event.
Thanks Guys, Awesome. My pick of the #4 Kodak Ernie Irvin for the Big W !!!! That was Fun, Thank You again for another great video, Hands Down the best You Tube Channel 👏👏👍👍😎😎
@@gothard5 92' Kodak #4 Ernie Irvin. I've got my name and pick right. That 1:24 Diecast is a Ernie Irvin Signature Car/ Morgan - Mclure Motorsports. Sterling drove it also, Ernie in Early 90's prior to 93 and then Sterling after. And yes he/ Sterling won the 93 Daytona 500 and then repeated in 94. Sterling was great. 😎👍
Back with I was a kid, my parents never used their treadmill. It had a slight down hill angle, and I would dump out my box of cars and line them up 2 at a time and drag race them down the slope. I would keep going until I had 1 winner. Of course the same 2-3 cars would always win but I would race them all the time anyway. Mine were all 1:64 scale
Man seeing that Rick Mast number 1 car really made me smile, I grew up about 20 minutes from Ricks house I even went to High School with his son, still run into Rick in Walmart occasionally.
Yeah me too it was just 4 won because of where they started him if they flipped the 4 and 94 starting spots 94 wouldve won the finals shouldve been 94 and 4 not 4 and 28
