Thank you so much for these 1994 75th Anniversary Season PrimeTime uploads. 1995 was an awesome season as well. I look forward to those uploads. Thanks again.
Steve Young was such a GAMER! After taking the Niners to 2 straight NFC title games against Dallas and coming up short, he was just not going to be denied the 3rd time around.
This was a blowout from jump street thanks to Steve Young remarkable performance in the biggest game of his and the 49ers career, and Deion Sanders Ricky Watters William Floyd got there diamonds on the ring, and Young and Rice would go to Disneyland at the end while the Chargers sorrow. That is all and end of the 1994 season. Rickey Jackson would get his 1st title after all them years on the Saints and he would retire at the end of this game. Ricky would head to Philly and Primetime would be a Cowboy in 1995, and become the 1st franchise to win 5 Super Bowl rings. Now 1995! 1995! 1995! 1995! 1995! 1995! Highlights lol 😁🏈🏈
49ers/Chargers was the end of the era of Super blowouts. The NFC win streak still went on a few more years, but DAL/PIT and NE/GB never felt like total destructions.
It's kind of a shame that this Super Bowl win felt anti climactic after the Championship game. It just didn't have the feel of a Super Bowl. When Young hit Rice on the post route for the first TD you just knew it was over.
