@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Absolutely! I'm spoiled with river gold now that I live in Oregon, but my gold fever origins lie in NV, and it's mostly hard rock there, so I'm still always on the lookout for veins. Usually you need to get a sample from a few feet below the surface though, but sometimes there's gold in the exposed stuff. Maybe we could do a collaboration thing?...I can send you one of my sampling machines and you could check hard rock material while out in the field. Let me know if you're interested, and have fun out there!
Adam !!!!!! how the heck are ya ..... must be the Bradshaws.... love the new intro ...we hit the like button and all ya need is an intro or logo .... beautiful quartz vein ....wow beautiful speci....you know you are standing on or ver near the source...... would check that area very well ....good job sonny Jim
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK thanks for replying! I'm out here in Las Vegas. Got into a little bit of metal detecting and my ace 250 got me hooked. Moving up soon but gold detecting seems to be fun. I love being out in the desert anyway so its a win even if I don't find anything. :)
Nice finds! Maybe a new gold mine found! I didn't know you got a 5000 the last time I heard you mention your detector you said gp extreme and had the 17x11 advantage coil and pulled out that 11 grammar😀 Wich battery pack do you use? I had a gold screemer and the camera style battery kept coming disconnected on me,had to wrap a rubber band around it.Do you deliberately not use a skid plate on the gb2 to get more sensitivity?? And carefully not scrape it? 🤔 less than a week till drywashing and using my new 14x9 evolution coil😎 I found an old hand stack out there that's so old the mountain is eroding over it,maybe Spaniard! Going to punch a hole right next to theres.Stay cool
It intrigues me how use you are to being out in the desert like you do.I've spent some time in quartzite and up around bill southern neck of the desert And it is hot. What do you take along to deal with drink eat.snack on.
Lots and lots of water. Im finding lately that most people dont bring nearly enough out into the desert or anywhere else for that matter . Quality snacks or sandwiches too . No gatorades, or energy drinks , ever !
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK That looked like a python or even an anaconda. The Everglades have thousands of pythons now, all due to some idiots dumping them there because they became too big as pets. They are trying to search and get them out, but that could take years.
Wow your inspirational ! I just started prospecting about four months ago so I'm gonna watch every video you release now thank you ! And your good lol.
Adam, you need to go back to that spot. You most likely found that high grade in a contact zone. Notice the shist and gneiss. That's a contact zone !! Need to open up that area !! Where's Boulder Dash ? Get him digging. Lol ! Great find buddy !
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK it's there within a few feet ! Lol ! Seriously, it's gotta be close, just because of the shape. Hope you find it. Will definitely be exciting !
My dad always told me hot rocks are something to keep and crush just to make sure its not just an iron rock. He has crushed hot rocks and found gold and then again he said its only 10 to 25 percentage chance of gold in all the hot rocks checked but again bigger rocks may have gold trapped in it. Most people toss them he said it all adds up no harm in crushing it and panning it out or blue bowl it if you crush it into sand size .
A little of both....Right now, it may be a good time to hang on to it. I dont have the highest paying job though , and it can help financially too.....Thanks for watching !
I see a lot good about the GB2 and the Monster, but what is your opinion of the original gold bug? I should be settled in Kirkland by then and want to take some local day/multiday excursions in my backyard😃
Another great video Adam.✅ It is always great to see you do the hunt even when is small.👍 When it is a speci it is just crazy.👌 Thanks for sharing this amazing video.😎👍👍👌👌⛏⛏
Thank you for including the beautiful scenery in your videos. I appreciate seeing the desert flowers and blooming cactuses. Do you think there is fine gold in those same areas too small for a detector but recoverable with another process?
I live in mesa but I'm from New England and I'm very interested in picking this up as a hobby and something to do with my kids. Would you ever consider taking someone out and showing them the ropes and how to get started ??
It really is hard for me to find the time to do that. Winter would be a little easier. Joining a prospecting club is a good way to start. They have mining claims you can go on ..
That was an amazing find there. Keep doing what you're doing, definitely enjoying your channel. From Nor Cal Trinity county,,, Christian @CGT Prospecting Adventures
Brake for bedrock I'm here, waiting to see the 1/4 ouncer 👍so give me your professional opinion, I want to get into what u do, the Fisher gold bug seems difficult to work/ adjust, what's your thoughts? Is the gold monster 1k a shallow detector? Do u have a shop or offer training? Thank you bud, it's appreciated 👍😁
Both the Gold Monster and the Gold Bug II are primarily shallow ( depth to bedrock ) detectors. For ease of use the Gold Monster would be the choice. Sorry , at this time I do not offer training but that may change .
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK thanks partner, looking to move around wickenburg soon, seems like a good area for the search! I'll probably invest in the ml, for starters! Great specimen you located there! I'll keep in touch 👍
I`m not sure. There are certain plants that may prefer a specific type of soil that gold may be found in , but its just not that easy. I wish it was... lol Thanks for watching !
What is the biggest copper nugget you've ever found metal detecting just curious . I found one a couple of years ago with a gold bug too in mother load
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Right on . When I found mine it was wrapped in a green and white oxide I guess I know it was something inside it was very heavy it was exciting nevertheless thanks for your reply Happy hunting
