I'm an Arizona native. At 76 years old it's too hard to get out in the desert like I used to. Thank you for taking me along on your adventures. Can't wait for your next video.
I love coming back to these vids. As I learn more about applying what I’ve learned hitting the same scenarios in my local areas that are more unknown so to speak I often revisit these videos and learn even more the second, third and sometimes 4th time through the vids. Crazy good info 👍 Keep up the great work! I know this vid is over 9mo old at the time of this comment, good applicable info is still relevant. Gold deposition is gold deposition regardless of time passing.
the gold...wow! thx for taking the time to post this guys! If this video doesn't get a guy excited to prospect in the desert, nothing will ..happy Thanksgiving to both you and your families.
I so want to get out and do this so much more in life I am only 5 years from retiering and am looking for a good place to go ! Thanks for showing that Arizona is a good place to go !
I can't wait...you guys are top notch prospectors and professionals at fun!! I hope you get every dollar it's worth! If not....I'm persistently here for you😁. No need for a proctologist...I'm the pain in your .....!🤝🍻
Hello neighbor, Tucson here, My disability keeps me homebound, but wishing you all the luck in the world, I'd love to be out there myself diggin that wonderful natural bling, lol😁👍
Way to go guys...I previously thought I wanted a GB2, but now I'm definitely getting the Gold Monster. Now, if only I had the time....:( Happy Holidays to you as well
I started dryblowing (aussie) because of your videos. Going out in 8 hrs from now to work a small feeder gully but I'm sure it wont be anything like what I just saw . Or will it??? 🤣 That was some nice color. Great job!
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Thanks but was a washout...Got rained on 20 mins in but managed to scape up a sample bucket and washed at home for 0.22g which backs up my previous small samples so maybe an ok spot yet.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK It's only getting down to 20 degrees so far. I just need a few warm days to melt all the ice on the leach pad and get the rest of the gold out of solution. I give it a 50/50 chance. It may have to wait until spring.
It sounds like the both of you need to be working on that gully your in a bit more. Looking forward to your next video and well done with what you had found.
Great mining there guys. Interesting that you brought bedrock up. I was just telling somebody yesterday that this ain't Cali. Like everybody wants to get to bedrock. It don't work the same in desert placers. A lot of areas you can actually see the banding beds from the years of the flash floods. Not all flash at the same time. Seen it rain across the road here yet dry where i'm standing. Like you said: "go for the long straight stretches AFTER the inside bend." Sometimes it's a little ways after and keep it as shallow as you can. I've found the gold in layers that were sometimes 8-10"s apart. Again like you said: "be diligent". Your there go for it. And ...yea...your going to get sore knees, backs, and arms. "May all your days be Golden".
Thanks Craig ! Its just been cold wet, and then I got hit with covid, but I have a new detector and some new content should be coming out soon. Hope you are well too !
Did you guys see the almost 5 toz nugget the NZ Dredge boys found metal detecting a creek? That thing looked like a flat river rock that you’d skip! *IT WAS HUUUUGE!*
Great videos! In Arizona too and have been very tempted to get into prospecting and staking claims. What tips do you have to identify if a claim might already be owned? Thanks!
I need to replace the material on my dry washer what type of fabric do you suggest I noticed yours does not look stock. Hi do most of my Prospecting and the southern half of Nevada and western Arizona areas. and thank you for your contacts keeps me inspired. PS there’s a couple areas in Esmeralda County southern Nevada, that I hit a few times a year after the rains were the The bedrock is real close to the surface with natural ripple type bedrock and I just go up there with my vacuum a week or so after it rains and get gold every single time in the same 200 foot stretch good thing is it’s hard to get to so nobody ever goes up there.
Hi , and thank you or watching!. Good Drywasher cloth can be card to source. Theres really no particular name for it. Keene still sells some as far as I know ,and id start there. I do know A&B Prospecting in Prescott Valley has some right now. He may ship it to you. Otherwise , visit a store that sells cloth. The most important thing is to get cloth that breathes freely with little to no resistance when you blow through it. Yet tight enough weave to hold the ultra fines.
There are so many gold districts in Arizona, and those places deserve attention. We usually do not hint to where we are at. It takes a lot of work to find these areas. There is plenty of these spots out there however
just wanted to thank you for all the help under standing a dry washer im headed for AZ on the 15th of jan with my new 140s. could you explane the diferance in value of specimen gold and non. i under stand specimen is worth twice of spot?
Thats not always the case. The value ultimately will be decided by the buyer. Some specimens are really ugly and are not worth much. So visual impressions are very important. Just plain nuggets are usually worth 90 to 120 % of spot price. The variables are to lengthy to discuss. Congrats on the 140 , its a great machine. Do not push to much air through it.
Yeah we're going to get back to vacuuming because we're having fun eh vacuuming not fun yeah you're right it's not fun. Fun or not your killing it guys.
What part of AZ are you in? I'm in Tucson just asking. "Edit" after reading some comments, don't want you to give away where exactly, just give me a N , S , E or west, 😉👍
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I'm 74, a Phoenix resident, and have a quick question: In winter, is this something you think I could do or is the terrain a bit too rough? TiA
@@doughenderson4345 prospecting for gold can be a very physically challenging hobby. In order to be successful, you will likely have to push those limitations.
