I've worked for Crete and work for Werner, both are major shippers for Kelloggs, and I live in Omaha where there's even a kelloggs plant. Speaking from experience, Kelloggs is EXTREMELY picky about how they receive and ship product. They'll turn a trailer down over something as simple as a hard water spot inside the trailer (Not even on the roof skin, can be anywhere and from a previously damaged load. They'll still reject it. [Punctured bottles, etc]).

@@oddieboi 50 50. Everywhere is like that just depends ....Some days Adm will take trash next day they turn drivers down over a couple rocks on the edge of the trailer.

How long did it take for the complete operation?

Looks like it was cold when bin gave away. Some metals dont do well in sub zero temps, it is too brittle. Doesn't flex without breaking. Steels for subzero are softer. Any chance that was a factor?

The Tool Guy Your parents must be so proud that you have grown up with the social graces of a rabid porcupine. Get yourself a Google account using your real name and stop calling people "idiots" and grown some cojones. You're a TOOL alright-how deliciously low you are. LOLOLOLOL

Less of a bin and more of a covered pile. I know where this was at.

Several comments about the video. Spelling: nozzels :-( Nozzles :-) innitial :-( initial :-) Someone needs to check spelling before final video posted and it needs to be someone other than the person writing it, or entering in the video. Much of text is blocked by black margins. Not enough time for reading text without having to stop video. Simple things like that can make a big difference on how people perceive your company. As "bestamerica" said focus (and I'll add steady camera work) can make a difference as well.

Paul C, smart people value grammar and spelling throughout life. It is amazing how lazy people are with communication skills. Sure, everyone screws up from time to time (some more than others), but why not learn as you go and help others to see what they may have overlooked?

Why don’t you build loaders to go under the double screen and use a grain auger with a front loader on the track hoes? Put a prescreen in for the hoes to dump into and let it have like a two foot auger or belts to carry the materials to the other screens. Using loaders takes a lot of time and a lot more money than using three or four hoes and maybe one or two loaders like a 950 Cat. This would really speed up the recovery times. Yes it costs more money to put it in but it would pay for its self. I do not know nor do I want to know how you bid these jobs. The savings in fuel and man hours are enough to me but it’s not my company and not my money.... When it came out of the final screens it would be loaded straight into the trucks with a set up where I could load three or four trailers at once. Move the trucks to keep them loaded evenly. It would not be that hard to make something like the use to load train cars and let that move as the trailers are loaded.. use a sliding tube to keep the grains from falling to far... maybe have a hose that can break away after the trailer has so much in it? I understand about the falling grains breakage and you don’t want it lifted up to high... handling it several times with loaders seems to me counterproductive... load it once in the bucket and let it be automatically loaded into the out going trailers.

@wyattgregerson5977
@wyattgregerson5977 3 года назад
This is my grandpas video. i work at the salvage and i can assure u that they know what they are doing. the people there are very smart people and they go through every possible option before they start operating to find the safest, most efficient, and the do their jobs the best that they can. if they do such a bad job then why are insurance companies, ethanol plants, etc..always coming back to them for any other problems they have. they almost always have a crew somewhere because they are the first people that these companies look to for help because they do their job so well. so please do your research and make sure you are not just talking down on people because u don't like the way they do their job.
