My dad died of cancer 5 years ago and he left me his 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I didn’t really have much use for it but I kept it as a second car for sentimental reasons. He took such great care of it and I’ve also kept it in top condition. It only has about 100,000 miles and it doesn’t even have a scratch. Interior looks brand new too. This video is more than just about a truck; it's about the extraordinary bond between a man and his machine, a testament to Mike's incredible journey and a symbol of human resilience. The 1.6 million-mile Tacoma isn't just a feat of engineering; it's a chronicle etched in every mile, every dent, and every repaired part, each contributing to a legacy that transcends automotive history. It's only fitting that it finds a home in a showroom, but in truth, it holds a place in the hearts of everyone who heard its story. The Tacoma is a material testament to an immeasurable spirit - Mike's spirit. Let's keep his memory alive by sharing this story, inspiring future generations to value simplicity, longevity, and genuine human connections. RIP Mike, you've left tracks on this world far beyond the miles on your odometer.

I have an 07' Scion Tc with 200,000 miles. It's an icebox in the summer, and I've NEVER been stuck in snow of any kind, and we live in Massachusetts. I have confidence, that it will last 500,000 miles, because I've changed the oil every 3,000 miles since it's purchase, and it still has very strong torque. There's some rust, and it's dirty, but I wouldn't trade it for any other automobile. So far the only repairs, have been a steering column, that went bad the first 6 months, which was covered for a $50 deductible on the warranty, and an alternator, that's it

It was destroyed in August 2022 in multiple car pile up in Richmond Virginia. It had 297, 862 miles. In the 18 years I owned it, it only needed a fuel pump at 270,000 is. It was a Silver Prerunner. So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. What a story though!! So cool that he kept things going with all those miles. Thanks for sharing it Jeff!! Not going to lie here....seeing stuff like this, makes me happy to drive a Toyota product....even though it's not a Tacoma. I've had my 2015 Lexus RX350 since 2017 and each time I get an email from the dealer wanting to buy it or have me come look at the new RX350's...I decline. It's been a great car (shocker huh?) in the 6 1/2 years I've had it. At only 70k miles...it's barely broken in.

Love this story, I remember watching the first video and thought, I wish I could afford one. Well I got out of debt and saved the money to buy one in cash. I bought a used 2021 Tacoma SR5 with 36000 miles and I’m praying I get at least half of what Mike got on his. Rest In Peace Mike.

I have a 2003 toyota tundra v8 access cab and it has 300,000 miles on it. It's the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It was actually the first vehicle I ever owned. Only big maintenance I have had to do on it is replace the radiators and replace a o2 sensor
