The 1.6 THP engine with no hugh power and torque loss... clearly no turbo pressure in this case as boost was missing in accelerating. 😓
Engine fault codes:
P2261: turbocharger bypass valve
P2262: turbocharger boost pressure not detected
Measured an air inlet pressure at 1 bar, regardless of the RPM. During the search for the root cause something unexpected seemed to be the issue...

Le moteur 1.6 THP sans perte de puissance ni de couple énorme ... clairement pas de pression de turbo dans ce cas car le boost manquait à l'accélération 😓.
Codes défaut moteur :
P2261 : soupape de dérivation du turbocompresseur
P2262 : pression de suralimentation du turbocompresseur non détectée
Mesuré une pression d'entrée d'air à 1 bar, quel que soit le RPM. Pendant la recherche de la cause première, quelque chose d'inattendu semblait être le problème...

Good to see you,Sir. Did you drive your thp car with power loss thats why you dismentle turbo?! I think I have the same problem. When I step throttle up but the rpm does not increase. Also I feel the car respond slow. It is just like speed up slowly even you step gas thorttle up more and more. I would try Oxygen sensor replacement and ignition coil replacement. What do you think?

Catalyser hs can be the problem.. 1.1 to 1.7 admission air pressure

Question is did it fix it ?? I get these two codes along with p0299 only when I put my foot flat . Rest of the time it drives all okay . Mines a 2009 207GT EP6 DT 150 OEM but nearly mint. I've often thought it was a faulty waste gate Would that be correct? Or could it just be the boost control solenoid . Heard there a bit tricky to get to under the intake manifold. Never fixed it as like I said it drives great most of the time just doesn't like foot to the floor in 4-5 gear any more. Ps love the vide have watched em all cheers for your time and commitment to the cause. 😀👍

Thank you for your comment. No it was not the solution. Later we found that the axle and bearing bush had a lot of play. As a result, a lot of exhaust gases were lost through the wastegate because it did not reach the seat properly. We later disassembled the turbo by disassembling the exhaust manifold. That's the easiest way to change the turbo. In a later vid we show how we did that, vid still needs to be edited. There are turbo parts for sale and especially the part that contains the wasgate. However, we have decided to buy an original BorgWarner turbo and install it.
