I'm still looking and learning. Take away the the background and you are looking at the real thing. Magnificent. I'm wrestling with an ancient Matchbox kit which I hope to depict as 801 Squadron off HMS Invincible during the Falklands conflict. It fits where it touches but I'm determined. Your video gives me heart to overcome adversity!
That is a very nicer looking model you have built there!! I also have it in my stash but haven't got round to it yet. Your build will serve as an inspiration to me whenI come to build mine. Thank you.
this plane was one of my favorite but after they have so many problem with the computers i change my mind i remember the malvinas island war....by the way GOOD JOB
+Da Costa Obrigado Costa. Bem haja.. a carlinga a frente enevoou um bocado... tuve azar mas ja a troquei por outro kit mais antigo que tinha... mas é sempre um momento "porra pah!" .. abraço

Beautiful, Alex!!! I like the (Sea) Harrier very much, especially the idea of VTOL. I can't understand why no other country ever REALLY developed an aircraft like this. Stunning work as usual, senhor! :)
Non-Prolific 1/35th Scale Model Builder thank you my friend! actually Germany developed one... didn t win eith the versatility of the harrier and the soviets had one on theyr navy as well... not harrier of corse :D this one had some teoubles but i had fun anyway
I know. Messerschmidt was involved in the development. He thought further ahead than most other aircraft manufacturers - maybe too far ahead of his time after WW II. I didn't know of a Soviet approach, but that sounds interesting. Will try to look it up. Some kits can be quite a challenge, but your result looks the business. :)
Hi Alex, great build as always! Watching your videos is helping me a lot , since i'm pretty new to the hobby (i've been building models for little more than a year), many thanks! i recently saw your review of the J7W2 and i was thinking maybe you should build her next! i've always been fascinated by this strange looking aircraft and i'm sure that with your skills the model will definitely turn out awesome! best regards from Italy, Simone
Awesome build, however the sea harrier has the Martin Baker mk.10 ejector seat which doesn't have a bang handle on the head box. They've never ever had them.
Nice Alex, the pe parts for the cockpit look great. I envy you for your patience with all the rivets And the rest of the plane, what can I say. The harrier is just cool.
Great build ! Love the seam filling part . is that Vallejo putty ? Never tried removing with nail polish remover , you learn something new every day . Until next time , keep them coming 1 Tony
I need help I've had the 1/24 airfix sea harrier FRS.1 and it says I need to cut a large section of the nose off but I don't know what to use to cut it off or where does anyone have a good guide/link to a guide or advice P.S Thanks
Very nice job Alex. I have also started to build a lot of the Airfix kits. Good way to experiment new ideas and techniques. I wait until the very end to mount the landing gear because it is so fragile. Why do you mount the gear so early in the build? Doesn't it make painting more difficult? Just wondering.
MsMadLemon summer os always a bit tricky... we had trwmendous forest fires here in the country and i went to the mountains to patrol a park with some horses... its cool but very phisical :) all is well with the boat... lets hope that it doesn t have the same ending as its originalnon its first voyage! :)
I remember last time you mentioning the forest fire disaster you were having there. Wishing all is well! From the care i've seen in your creations here, i'm quite sure the boat will have a good ending, it seems like it's a Titanic replica if i'm correct :o)
Hi Alex this was a fantastic build m8ty but why did you use one air intake set to hover and the other set to forward flight or was it intentional. If this was to happen in flight it would surely crash. None the less a great build and can we have the next one please
Alex, la última capa de barniz es brillante o mate? Parece muy exagerado el panelado de este avión aunque Airfix tiene muy buenos modelos. Un saludo y magnífico trabajo como siempre.
i mean it might not be, i built the hasegawa av8b ii and it had the same problem. however in that case i was able to get away with sanding a bit. 3 points make a plane, the chance of having the fourth point on that plane is very slim
(Good evening colleagues! Has something happened to the author? Why is the mourning schidlik on the avatar?)
Спасибо что ответили Алекс. Выражаю Вам и семье Вашего друга соболезнование. (Thank you for answering Alex. I express my condolences to you and your friend's family.)
+Michael Radke I loved those too.. until i got separated from my girl and not having a home from eich i can talk to you guys.. this us youtube there is a real life out there...
John Griesbacker you are right... but im not perfect... sometimes life gets in the way and we are not as polite and light as we use to be... my mistake...
I'm a little disappointed in this video build. I've watched most of your previous ones and found your work on the Harrier disappointing. Aside from the lower fuselage gap, there were some rough spots that could have used attention such as the vector nozzles (gaps and rough plastic at the joins) as well as the PE in the cockpit that was sticking up on the side console. Also the decal application wasn't up to your usual quality. It just comes across as a rushed build.
+John Griesbacker Im not... im not really... i even say thay the front canopy its foggy.. its on the subtitkes... have you read it? Again.. thanks... and if you post your opinion the least you can "allow" is for me to give you mine:)
