besides fighting point more, i think the biggest adaptation zbra made was using his ult for tempo/overhealth instead of as an escape. he got so many ult kills and would keep refilling to max overhealth like twice a fight! that was a lot of fun to watch

This is kinda terrifying. For those who don't know, Doomfist's passive is called The Best Defense... It gives him 35 HP per hit with an ability or 75 per hit with Meteor Strike. This is independent, meaning it's that much FOR EACH TARGET HIT. This is 10 targets at 5x amplification (ok four but it doesn't really matter and im not doing that math). 175 HP per target with Rocket Punch or Seismic Slam and 375 per target with Meteor Strike. There is a cap for this, but it's amplified by five times, meaning that instead of a 200 HP buffer, it's a 1000 HP buffer. This is only balanced because it also drains 5x faster and starts draining 5x faster, roughly 0.12 secs before it starts draining by 3/0.1 secs. Recommended picks: Tank: Orisa can Fortify and Javelin to counter Rocket Punch. Since Rocket Punch is his strongest attacking ability, Doomfist is kinda screwed unless he decides to primary fire. Again though, it's not 100% since there's still so many abilities. Zarya: Doomfist gains no Overheal from hitting her barriers, although it won't work for more than 1 attack. DPS: Soldier: 76 can burn him down from afar, although it's not great. Don't ever helix rockets, it just charges punch. Any sniper. One hit taking most of his Overhealth is worth it, and BOB especially can do a lot. Dragonstrike can zone him off point and Infra Sight is just good in general in 1v10s. Dynamite is also broken against Power Block. Bastion: Bastion Genji: He can dash through punch and Meteor Strike with Swift Strike, reflect primary fire with Deflect, and avoid Seismic Slam with Cybernetic Enhancements. Tracer: Hard to hit, even harder to punch. One tap kills, but expect a good tracer to get value. Sojourn: Railgun headshots do a lot and can basically counter Power Block. Grenade is a zoning tool that's handy. Sombra: What do you think? EMP all the way, baybeeeee Mei: Can literally block punches, what did you expect. Symmetra: Turret bombs and turrets not giving over health combine with a poke-and-port playstyle to win through attrition, since he'll have to burn two abilities to chase you. Cassidy: With proper support, Cassidy can damage boost to a one tap with Deadeye. Echo: With high burst damage and flight, what else could you want? Focusing beam carries too, since Overhealth is not healing. Reaper: Wraith Form and The Reaping are great at burning cooldowns. Phara: If you can land directs, he can't really punish you in the air unless he burns his only guaranteed escape tool, and otherwise burns an ult. Barrage is also broken when nobody else can punish you for it. Anybody who can lure out a cool down: There's ten of you and one of him, so if you can make him miss one cooldown that's an opportunity. Don't bunch up though. Supports: Lucio can speed boost out of Meteor Strike and boop punch and slam. His low damage comparatively also leads to low chances of power block amping. Sound Barrier can nullify an ult. Mercy: Fast and her damage boost is crazy. Boost up your Bastion and watch heads roll. Baptiste: Can lure out a punch or slam with Exo Boots, and also can provide Immo Field and Amp Matrix- watch that you don't get punched away from it since the initial hit will not kill but the slam does more than 100 damage. Lifeweaver: Lifelines save lives, life grip is great, good cool down bait with reju dash petal platform, and you can shield with tree of Life, which won't do much else. Use your offense more, as your low HPS is basically nothing. Kiriko: Swift Step is a good cool down bait and her high healing is very powerful when you get onetapped. Don't headshot while blocking, but otherwise really good value. Kitsune Rush is stupid in 5v5, imagine 1v10. Briggite: Passive HP and, if you're fast, Shield Bash Baits are great support for the rest of the team. Repair Pack heals fast and you can have 150 armor, tanking at least one direct punch and follow up. Stuns too, so that's an env elim. it's one v 10, one death doesn't matter on your team. Bashing a punch is also a stun! Whipshot can counter Rocket Punch and Seismic Slam to help mitigate damage. Heroes to avoid like the plague itself: Reinhardt: Bad movement combines with a bypassable shield to make a giant Overhealth dispenser. Close range vs the guy named Fist? Bad idea, Rein. Earthshatter needs precision. Zenyatta: No movement, even with Orb of Discord. He does basically nothing else but float around and take hits. Trancendence is okay, but what's the chance you'll get it at 5% per life? D.Va: Can give a minimum of not one, but two hits. No way to defend the team when things go wrong. Self-destruct and Remech amp fist. Need I say more? Hear me out: Ana. Sleep Dart won't last in a 1v10, and Bionade's useless since he can't heal normally without HP packs. Sombra does her job so much better, and Nanoboost doesn't make up for her low movement and it's poor targeting. Hammond: He's a BALL. That takes KNOCKBACK. See where I'm going? Junker Queen: No movement. Roadhog: Common sense dictates that the ult battery should be avoided, lest he become an over health battery too. What's he gonna do, hook Doomfist into Doomfist's effective range?
