They dont trash talk. They are nice people and respectful to their opponents. They dont have luxurious lifestyle. They dont have drama with celebrities. Honestly, these are the things that media in general are looking for in players not the actual basketball. They are one if not the best basketball team in the world rn
Welcome to the Spurs world. The media hates small market teams. Even when the Spurs had the 5 championship dynasty no love or attention was brought to them. Gotta be a dumb large market to get respect in the NBA.
Jokic has to be one of the best players of all time, winning a championship with no all stars, no all nba or all defensive team teammates is absurd. If Jokic had help to the extent other stars had I can only imagine how many accolades he could have when it’s all said and done
You didn’t give a fact about Tyrese Haliburton… all you did was say there’s 2 Eastern All-Stars named Tyrese and then you gave a fact about Indiana/Pacers, which obviously isn’t Haliburton.
How was Julius Randle let go to make cap space for Anthony Davis if the played on the same team in New Orleans then Anthony Davis was traded to the Lakers?? If anything Julius Randle was let go to make cap space for Lebron
Paul George played for the Pacers, now playing in an All Star team. If he opts out of his Player Option next season, or becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent the season after, he is quite likely to return to the Pacers.
Barnes is not deserving of an all star spot. White, KP easily could’ve gotten it. And when it comes to injury replacements it shouldn’t matter conference . Sabonis / Fox should’ve gotten in at that case
Scottie making it in year 3 gives me a lot of hope as a Raptors fan. Stephen Curry wasn’t even an all star until his fifth season, and he won MVP the next year. Scottie Barnes 2025 MVP? I hope so
