** My bad everyone, I made a mistake - that is not the west Philippine Sea ** What did you think of the property? If you have any questions, I left all of the info in the description up above (including price). Tuli, I would build a modest home and have a nice vegetable garden. Start an orchard with nice fruit trees. I would keep most of the land native for the view alone. Great video! Thanks again for sharing. Stay safe!
My first observation is I got dizzy with the fast turning of the camera. I would say pan slower or not at all. Great video's Thank You! I subbed today! My thought is how would you get everything to market if sold? Transporting the coconuts and fish and selling to who? How big is the Island? Is there a market there? Food and scenery looks awesome! Thank You!
If the current residents are not the owners, there might be a hassle asking them to leave--bad blood and all that. Plus the houses will have to be bulldozed to clear the property--an additional expense. But the biggest issue is lack of road access. Hard (and very expensive) to book a banca every time you need to go to town or more importantly, transport construction materials. Otherwise it's an idyllic place.
Great way to put it Jay. And couldn't agree with you more, it would make a great beach house getaway but it would be hassle to set it up and sustain it in the first place...
Another great video 😁 I love watching a American-Filipino in the Philippines making the same mistakes we all make 😂 forgot sandals 🩴 keep up the great videos
I have a couple of farms. I put cell towers on them for income. For me, my farm needs a well and electricity, and decent wifi. And of course a septic tank.
Looks like a great place to fish, farm and raise some animals like pigs n chickens. If my math is right, this island would cost around $78k. But i guess there's no electricity, so it would definitely be a manual labor lifestyle unless one purchased a boat, a huge generator, and plenty of fuel
I really Hope all the Fishermen practice sustainable fishing guidelines in order to not over fish the waters. as well as throw back any fish below a certain size (say the palm of their hand)
Hey Arniel. I apologize about that. I'm nkt too familiar with Philippine geography to be honest lol. As for the name of the island, I'll have to get back to you on that, but it is in Padre Burgos
I was thinking about provinces facing the west Philippine sea like ilocos sur/norte, la union, pangasinan, zambales, bataan, palawan, zamboanga peninsula
"" many filipino will be interested to buy that piece of property even undevelope, no water, no electricity, no road access,, etc.etc. if the owner of that land decided to cut that 11, 000 SQM.into 1,000 SQM. so that those marginalise filipino like OFW,, & OCW,, and even factory workers here can afford to buy a piece of land from their hard earned labor " and you can sell it fast like a hot cake !
"HI, IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO CUT THAT 11,000 SQM. INTO 1, 000 SQM. SO THAT MANY FILIPINO CAN AFFORD TO BUY AND OWNED A PIECE OF A PARADISE IN PADRE BURGOS ?? PLS. REPLY...""
Kudos to your efforts but there is a CORRECTION .. Mr Savvy Expat. You claim that your location is Padre Burgos, Quezon Province. You are riding your bangka in the east of the Philippines. You are in the Pacific Ocean NOT the China Sea. Please verify your info when you make travel blogs. It will make you more credible. Thanks for promoting the Philippines for retirement.
I WOULD LIVE THERE, I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING I'D REPAIR THE EXCISTAN HOMES, THAT ARE ARE THERE ALREADY AND OTHER THAN SECURITY, I'D LEAVE IT JUST THE WAY IT IS, OH! I'LL STOCK THE POND WITH FISH DRILL A FRESH WATER WELL OR JUST CAPTURE THE RAIN WATER IN CISTERNS FOR PURIFYING AND MAKING IT DRINKABLE.
Since when did the Philippines west sea transfer in Quezon Province? LOL! if your not familiar with Philippine geography PLEASE do some research before selling the property. Your misleading and giving wrong info. LOL
