I get to play with many different sizes of trains, from tiny HO models that fit in your hand, all the way up to large 15-inch gauge locomotives that can pull literally tons of passengers and cars. An often-overlooked size of train here in the U.S. is the 1 inch to the foot scale. In other words, a six-foot-tall person would be six inches tall in this scale. The track rails would be 4.75" apart in the U.S. and 5" apart in the U.K. Let's check it out!
