Wouldn't it have been easier to just leave the Portugal faction instead of taking over? Thus they still remain faction leader, preventing them from joining other faction and I think it would be faster as well

@hatlessspider Here is an idea for how to make your one king four crowns into one king nine crowns. (or even 10 crowns) After you complete one king four crowns, you want to have the UK former dominions free and democratic and in the allies while you actually *annex* the UK. (so you should not engage the dominions at this point at all. However, satelliting or puppeting British Malaya is fine) It is imperative to either release Germany as independent (and fascist) or never cap it at all at this point. Now, go to just the new leader of the allies, and engage none of the other dominions. The leader is probably Canada or Australia, so you cap the leader, say Canada. If you do not engage the others, you should be able to have a peace deal with just Canada. Now, you puppet Canada, and call it into the war with the others. Then capitulate the others and give their territory to just Canada. (You can even fight the US and give its territory to Canada too so you can form the Dominion of North America as the UK later) At this point, Canada will probably struggle a bit but manage to hold the others for a bit. You want Canada to be independent now. Either allow it to break free by taking a lot of lend lease from it or just change government and ally it instead of puppetting in the first place Now, delete all your units, justify on Germany and release the UK. As the UK, you want to take down the dominions and go for the Imperial Federation. But the dominions have already been owned by just Canada, so you only need to fight Canada on its own. Take the other dominions from it and form the imperial federation. (If your Canada owns the US, this is the best time to turn it into the dominion of north america) In the meantime, ally the original Four Crown entity and allow it to capitulate to the Germans so you can make the Franco-British union. Now, with the combined cores of all of the dominions, you have the crowns of: - France - Portugal - Spain - Brazil - Canada - Australia - New Zealand - South Africa - India - the US and of course - the UK (you can even stretch it and add 3 crowns to your title by annexing the UK as it's already Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland, so you'd have 13 crowns!)

Nice! This was definitely a very interesting way to play the game and really unique strategies. I can see why it took so long to figure all this out. Small request on future videos though. Could you slightly increase the volume? I really have to crank up the volume on my tv to properly hear everything. I have noticed the same issue un your earlier videos too. Other than that, a great video :)

Could you in theory just start as France and set the AI to go for the carlist and Porto-Brazilian kingdoms if you don’t care about achievements? Basically skip the first step of playing as Spain for the civil war?

You can wait on Portugal and see if they core Mozambique and Angola

theres probably some way you could mess with it to have mozambique and angola because portugal can do that at any time as long as they arent fascist and they dont go down the mutually exclusive colonial path

Wait so you don’t get core on France? I play as France manage to wait till Spain intergrade all of it none core before manage to annex them. The greatest thing that annoy me is Portugal won’t form Iberian Union with Spain even when they are both my vassal. Just annoying .
