This is a step-by-step Modeling tutorial of a Vintage Pocket Watch in Maya. This video is a part of creating an object using Maya and Substance Painter. In this series, I am showing the entire pipeline in detail Modeling-Unwrapping-Texturing-Rendering in 4 videos. I am okay until the part where the face of the small cylinder is extruded. My extrude box menu disappears and I can't add the divisions. If I go to the menu in any other way the divisions that are all clumped together and do not look like yours. how can I get the extrusion menu box back up after pulling out to faces?

Question if someone could answer this for me, but why not just use a sphere and squash it down? is there a specific reason for making a cube and using the smooth tool?
