@@blakelangley7085 Born in Sarasota and raised as a Gators/Bucs fan first but a good amount of my family lives in Denver so they naturally became my AFC team and I’ve rooted for both of them since I started watching football as a kid. It’s particularly wild when I was a massive Manning guy when he was on the broncos and I hated Brady but then my perspective completely changed when Tom came to Tampa and I gained a full appreciation for the rivalry with the both players having finished their careers with my teams. So I feel like it’s pretty unique perspective I ended up having, not to mention Super Bowl rings with both teams

Jalen hurts outplayed him except one fumble that costed him. Mahomes was not the superbowl mvp but a narrative is being pushed so they gotta give him it for whatever reason. The dude shovel passed his way to a superbowl mvp lol

absolutely. doesn't mean he's perfect or infallible. he played terrible vs the bengals last year in the afc championship but he learned from it and it resulted in one of the greatest QB seasons of all time. no one player has as much influence on the result of a given game than patrick mahomes does. that combined with the fact that he's just incredibly clutch and consistent in 99% of his games clearly makes him the number one ever since he's been in the league.

Things can change in an instant. Brady won 3 Super Bowls with Belichick in his first four seasons starting. He didn’t win another one for 10 years. Is Mahomes going to play 22 seasons? Andy Reid definitely won’t be coaching much longer. How do you know Mahomes will have the same success with the next HC of the Chiefs as he is with Andy Reid? Enjoy the moment while it lasts, but don’t take it for granted. It’s hard to sustain that kind of success. There will probably never be another duo like Brady and Belichick because they were together for 20 years and won six Super Bowls together. They essentially grew up together. Andy Reid is in his twilight years. Assuming Reid coaches another 5 seasons, he and Mahomes would have to win a Super Bowl in four out of those five seasons just to catch up to Brady and Belichick. I don’t think that’s happening. The Chiefs aren’t head and shoulders better than their competition.

Very unlikely. Of Mahomes plays as long as Brady then he’s gonna have to do this without Andy Reid. We’ll have to wait and see what happens when he reaches that point in his career. At best Andy Reid will coach 10 more years.
