Eric Forsyth has sailed over 250,000 nautical miles on sailing his 42 foot sailing vessel 'Fiona.' He has circumnavigated the globe twice, once east to west and once west to east... He's sailed to the Arctic and the Antarctic 3 times each, including navigating the Northwest Passage. He's sailed through the Panama Canal five times, sailed around Cape Horn 4 times, and is a Cruising Club of America Blue Water Medal winner.
On November 4, 2011 I interviewed Eric aboard Fiona in Lisbon, Portugal...

@BlueAyes1, I'm really happy that people are enjoying the Fiona series and feel privileged to share a glimpse of what cruising is like aboard Eric Forsyth's boat Fiona. As we sail around the world making movies, I hope that future episodes are anywhere near as interesting. I'm grateful to for any and all feedback, and especially would appreciate any suggestions for future episodes.... Many many thanks! Hope to see you in the anchorage someday! Very interesting listening to a knowledgeable salt like Mr Forsythe. Interviewer wasnt too bad either.

@arnihalldors - Thank you so much for the feedback! I have since purchased an external microphone which I can clip onto the camera or hold separately.. I also got a furry wind screen to cover the new microphone. I can't wait to see how it works at sea!! Much appreciated... Fair winds, calm seas and happy sailing...

I couldnt tolerate steering chains breaking. Incredible stories but that I wouldn't put up with.

Wow, Drake...great videos but if I may offer some friendly constructive criticism, you use the word Wow a bit excessively, It's a bit distracting. Thanks for all your effort into making these videos though.
