Crochet an easy snowflake that has only one round of crochet. You can starch (harden) the snowflake using white glue or varnish. Snowflake is great for Christmas tree decoration, on a card, as a gift tag or you can sew it to decorate clothes, bags or household items like blankets or cushions.

I tried this yesterday with cotton and a 1.5mm hook. That was too hard for me. Today I tried it with acrylic yarn and a 4mm hook and it works out fine. I am going to have a giant snowflake, lol. I might give it another try with a smaller hook once I get the pattern in my fingers. Kiitos!

Great! es, 1.5 mm hook is hard to work with, larger ones are easier!

Dear Tuula, I got excited when I saw "1-round crochet snowflake" but I think this pattern is actually harder than other snowflakes I've seen. Nevertheless, I subbed to your channel and I will definitely check out your other videos. Kiitos! EDIT: I am rather new to crochet, so it's probably me and not this pattern. :) Cheers!
