Plus, other OW RU-vidrs do the same. You can't tell me that the majority of those "How to improve your aim" videos aren't basically saying the same thing

The pergola is an archway, or sitting area with posts, typically covered in plants, posts being the keyword here and the pergola is usually a wholesome, separate structure, and the trellis is the vertical wooden wall-like structure (for plants to climb on) under the horizontal awning shown in the video at 7:26. Someone may argue that the horizontal awning trains plants too in order to provide shade, so maybe it can also be called a trellis, but a trellis is also the metallic or wooden cylindrical cage around a young fruit tree, which provides support for that tree, so a trellis is typically vertical and provides vertical support for plants or trees to go upward on. Thus, the thingy that you can stand on, and which is extending from a building, is definitely an awning, the primary use of which is to provide shade, whether by training plants or solely by its structure.
The structure that you jump on at 7:08 and 7:15 is called a pergola. It's an outdoor structure with that sort of lattice design, typically used in gardens or as deck roofing on the sides of small buildings. Great video as always KarQ :)

It's not a trellis. Trellises are vertical to help plants grow vertically. The thing that sticks out can be referred to as a slatted awning or an attached pergola.

Yo KarQ and community: The jump on Ilios Ruins at 7:52 in the video is actually the same on both sides. You can choose not to jump onto the incline first, but rather onto the even part of the roof. This makes the jump actually pretty much identical for both sides. But yeah Ilios Ruins is probably the least symmetrical control map in terms of jumps. Thank you for your videos :3
The “sand bags”in the Temple of Anubis map are actually spice bags, in Middle Eastern marketplaces they have different spices lined up in bags, in case you were wondering

Anybody who didn't watch this years' OWL, on Oasis Gardens there is a spot in right and left room where Mei can Ice Wall teammates onto the doorframes. It was used in the insane Houston vs Shock match last week to get McCree up there who then stunned the enemy Rein, which won them the fight.
On Volskaya if you jump into a barrel thing next to the forklift and into the forklift and the roof of the forklift you can get on the roof of the building with the health pack in Point A
Oasis University when I was playing Junk I discovered on the left side of the point in that room you can jump on the top ledge of the door frame thing on either side if you concussion mine up there and can also be done with Genji, Echo, or Ashe

On oasis university, if you are playing ball you can barely jump into the center, and pile drive back up, this is great for pile driving in the center of point without having to use other abilities or take high ground
There is a cool jump for Oasis University. You can wall ride the right side pillars to flank as Lucio and get behind enemy lines for a boop or to build a beat faster
on anubis, after you jump up on that first spot, you can jump on the scrapped omnics head and do a funny little twist jump onto the platform above the pathway
Thanks KarQ! It'll sound dumb but the Temple of Anubis one, I constantly forget about jumping on the sandbag first. I always try for the apron in the heat of battle and screw up trying... lol
There are the chairs on the side upper area for university, in case you want a different angle to shoot at the enemies door. Although I've also seen a lot of reapers use it to get behind enemies coming in to ult too.
I believe the dog can be strategically placed to allow access to higher up areas. Additionally the dog can also bring you stuff while you and duboiz are chillin on that 1 spot on the first choke on temp of anubis.

there's a spot on Temple of Anubis to get onto the platform that goes over the main path to second point from first choke vantage point by hopping onto the golden statue that looks like Echo and then around the pillar onto the platform. Keeps you mostly safe from enemy line of sight and as Ana you can get some cheeky shots through the gap between the pillars
The “thingys” in ilios are actually grape racks, because grape plants are hanging plants, so they can climb up something over time and then hang in that
There's a spot on Oasis University, next the stairs going to highground. Next to the stairs, there's a wall you can stand behind and get a flank off. It was used by someone in OWL but I can't remember who.
The thing is, Blizzard intended most of these jumps, if not all. It shows how much thought goes into designing each map. They want to give people ways to get to different section of the map.
I think the best spot for Rout 66 is when your in the warehouse area and going around the corner near the door. You can use the crater to get up to high ground. I use this one a lot a doomfist so I can use ALL of my abilities for more value and than run up the crates.
there's a sweet spot for sniping, altough not very secure, in dorado. A ledge left from the church balcony, you have to jump over the cactuses but it's nice
I know one on ilios lighthouse in the point there is little ledges on the top of the gates on the right and left side and you can actually go on top of them and maybe get a cheeky junkrat ult off
