There are people, who have great skin, despite eating like sh..t. However, if you're not one of them... look at this from the bright side. When candy shows up at your face in form of acne, you feel motivated to not eating it. Person with great skin eats a lot of candy and boom in few years diabetes. So, your acne actually protects you from illness :) At least, that's what I tell myself, because if life gives you lemon.. :):)

I completely agree. I have oily and acne prone skin but it was worse when I was younger. My mom got me to drinking green juices and I started eating clean. My skin cleared up so much. People think I’m trying to lose weight but I’m actually eating well for my skin, 😁 my body thanks me for it too though.

Another tip: EXERCISEEE: This is rlly important and from my personel experience, i did everything fel mentioned in the vid but my acne still wouldn't completely go away, however, i started working out everyday, and i still do it now, and my skin has completely cleared out. Fyi, when you exercise, ur muscles need energy, which they get from glucose and oxygen, so ur body is actually using up the glucose u had taken up from all these foods, meaning the glucose is going away becayse of this anyway so there is no need for too much insulin production. I would definitely recommend to follow all the tips fel mentioned in the vid along with daily exercise, which cleared my acne, and hopefully it will urs too :D

What kind of exercise you do? Any recomendation?
@isbahfatima4451
@isbahfatima4451 2 года назад
@@aloarstory3358 I usually just make a workout routine of 10 to 15 minutes of different exercises with 2 to 3 10second breaks in between. My main priority is to sweat out and that happens only when u feel tired and out of breath during the work out. If you don't know much about work outs, I suggest you could find a 10 to 15 minute full body work out on RU-vid, infact that's what I started out with. And it's really important that you do this every day for clear skin. You could take 1 to 2 days off I a month, but try not to do it more than that. Good luck!!

I've had oily skin all my life, but had a terrifying cystic hormonal outbreak about 3 years ago when my face was completely wrecked and swollen - all these bumps were growing out of nowhere and there was nothing I could do to keep it controlled. At the same time, I started having abdominal pains (even when I wasn't on my period). I went to the doc and found out I had a huge ovarian cyst that needed to be surgically removed. 1 week after the surgery, all the acne cleared by itself. That whole episode taught me a lot about how acne can be a direct reflection of your body chemistry and health.

I am in my 40's now and when I had acne at 14-18 years old, I started using Retin A. I was deterred from using it because of the peeling. The dermatologist actually told me that sweets had nothing to do with acne. I told him, when I ate junk foods (big macs, drank pop, fries, etc.) my acne increased. I kept believing him and used the Retin A as an excuse to eat crappy. I changed my eating, got rid of dairy, drank more water, ate healthier and acne went away. Bottom line: YOU ARE CORRECT. Even though doctors tell us something, our bodies know the truth. LOVE YOUR CONTENT.

I haven't worked out since the pandemic started, ate whatever I wanted everyday, also had a lot of stress with school and work. The reasons behind my acne is so much simpler than I thought, and I can't believe I was genuinely confused as to why I was having acne again🤡🤡🤡 Skincare is important, but diet, exercise and mental health is also SOOO important and foundational to having good skin. I’m so glad I’ve found it, cause my dermatologist has told things like “Acne is an independent disease it rarely relies on your diet. Some ppl eat burgers every single day and still don’t get any breakouts”, but still she says “try to reduce sugar, products that contain high glycemic index and diary”. Now I understand WHY. I really hope for my skin to stay at the certain condition that it is now, but in order to prevent dramatic breakouts I guess I have to try this out, cause as I remember I feel myself WAAAAAAY BETTER when I eat healthier, less sugar, less diary, more veggies, more fruits etc. I’ve been thinking about paying attention to my diet for the last 1-3 weeks I guess, but after this video I will DEFINITELY watch myself and learn more about it.

Explaining the relationship between sugar, carbs, insulin and hormone levels really helped me to understand this vicious cycle. They used to say it but I didnt get, now I know why I should avoid from certain foods, not as a basic prohibition but as a well-explained and understood cause of my lately hormonal acne. It was under control for couple of years, that I'm on birth control pills but recently, for couple of months it came back even though I'm still on the medication and nothing could stop it. I'm gonna reorganize my nutrition style. I used to avoid from certain oils, as we all know it causes acne, but I didnt get why sugar or non oily carbs may cause acne. Your video really helped me. Thank you!

My 10 year daughter has been using all of these products for a few months. She gets mild/moderate acne on her forehead mostly. When using all three products (foaming cleanser, moisturizer, and skin serum) Acne Treatment dermalmd serum works great! Seriously great! You can tell when she gets lazy with it cus she’ll have a forehead breakout. But this is the best!

Initially I ddI not think this was a video about nutrition, I thought you were going to show some products but I actually learned a lot, made me look at how my life has changed, what I’ve been eating or ingesting that has changed, skin really isn’t just what’s on top it has so much to do with internally and I’ve never really looked at that before I wanted to believe that I could get rid of my acne by just using good products but when I look at what’s changed, I have really been consuming a lot more sugars a lot less fibers, fruits all that stuff, I’ve seriously never wanted the believe I had to change my diet in order to help my skin but the last 6 months since I got my new job I’m working more I’m eating a lot of food from work I’m drinking all the sugary drinks all the milk and replacing my water with it. Thank you for this video it seriously made me realize what was going on and looking at what I’m doing and what I can do to help myself. Really a great video, thank you I’m excited to make some changes and hopefully help my body overall!!

That's a great , easy explanation! I'm an obgyn and a lot of patients could regulate their period like Fel without the need for medication... of course insulin resistance is not the only cause of acne or lack of menstrual period but it's really common... and we should all start by having a healthy body 💖

Also everyone talks about estrogen and testosterone while progesterone is very important too! When you have high levels of cortisol, this 'eats up' the progesteron therefore causing PMS and also acne! When there is little progesterone, the estrogen becomes too high.

Dairy is fine for me, and trying a plant-based diet did absolutely nothing (if anything, meat helps prevent the acne). But what I did find was any spikes of simple carbs OR eating a lot of seed oils will trigger breakouts for me. I don't really have hormonal acne, either, but these two things will trigger sebum and inflammation.

Thank you so much for this content last year I was diagnosed w pcos and have been struggling w the symptoms including the cystic acne. My health care provider sort of gave me a quick run over the side effects of my symptoms but never took the time to break down why and how my body is reacting. This was so insightful and so much more meaningful than ”just diet and exercise, see you next year !” Can’t wait to create new habits, and excited for more content to come! 💖

Right now my acne has cleared a lot because I was on pills but I have changed things in my diet while still enjoying the indulgent things in life and I love herbal tea and apple cider vinegar diluted with hot water as well as miso and changing to oat milk and being more mindful to my gut health. I have a long way to go and right now I'm skint but as soon as I get my first income from my new job I'm determined to spend it on eating healthy and finally get that gym membership!

Thanks for giving us your research about those stuff and you explained it so well 🙌🏽I had those acnes and my tummy was getting huge and I'm having PCOS since I remember. actually weight lose will helps to cool our body and drinking water also a big help for that because the high body heat can effect to the body hormones however. so weight lose, cutting all the carbs and maintain our BMI is the best way to reduce those extra hormones. I knew those things but I learned a lot today what actually going out there 🙌🏽❤️ with the insulins and sugar coffee and dairy products. ☺️

My endocrinologist told me, if you have a family history of diabetes, you're very likely to have that too.. increase in insulin level , pcos etc which causes cystic acne by triggering testosterone and androgens,In such cases you need to intake some medicines regularly to regulate your insulin and blood sugar level and also maintain your hormonal balance

What if you're someone who actually consistently eats fruits/veggies/oatmeal/smoothies/fibrous foods but still has cystic acne? Is it also a stress thing? I have found that my acne causes a lot of emotional stress and I am also more of a negative self talker - and I am trying to reduce my stress by improving my self talk and trying to not care about my acne's appearance...but it is difficult. It has caused a LOT of red scarring.
