Oh man I know! Stupid me decided to take two masters classes, study for my NASM exam that I'm taking at the beginning of October, AND go out of town every weekend of September....oy. I think I have a problem of overbooking.
Tonight I prepped 5 pasta meals using (for each serving) 1/2 of a 12 oz bag of frozen broccoli, 1 chicken sausage from Trader Joe's cut into rounds and pan cooked, 1 oz lentil pasta, 6 oz of pasta sauce (I like a kind from Aldi.) I added onion and garlic powder and dried basil. Then I top with Parmesan (I know you don't do dairy.) Ends up as 8F/28P/50C and about 385 calories. So rather high carb, but totally worth it for me! Super filling! Plus gives me dinner for 5 nights. I'll likely freeze 2-3 for next week. I've found they reheat nicely. Oh and disclaimer: I'm posting this on a Whole30 video, but I'm sure my meal is not likely Whole30!
That sounds delicious! And I'm not doing the Whole30 right now even though I'm posting videos. So I definitely prepped white rice on Sunday too :) I'll have to try the lentil pasta :)
Hi Steph! I missed you too! I'm back! At least I finally had time to edit my competition vlogs. I'll hopefully film some more this week. I just need to figure out what. lol
+Deb Olsen nope. The bison has enough fat in it since it's 90% lean. So I think the serving had 11g of fat. Although you should still use some sort of cooking oil just to make sure it doesn't stick like a bit of coconut oil or ghee
