Just hit 1 year loc'd Oct 3, 2022. I have micro locs and use the interlock method. It has definitely been a journey and I have also thought of combing these jawns out. It took me to look at pictures to notice how much fuller and longer my hair actually is, but I am enjoying the journey so far.

I like your honesty 🙏🏾 just started my Locs journey it’s been 1 and 1/2 month and it’s just nice to see a normal journey with the perks and the lows because sometimes I do have this feeling like damn was this the right choice 😂 but thanks for sharing that motivates me 💪🏾

I was thinking about doing 2 strand to get thick/medium locs but now I wanna get coils. Do you think they will thicken up like how I want?

Depends.. I would ask an experienced loctician. I told told her what size I wanted them to be and she went off of that.

I’m 2 months in and my hair shrunk up real bad because it gets wet when I shower. Had to wash my hair because I couldn’t see the loctician this month and will see her on the 18th. Should I do styles to keep all my hair in so it won’t shrink up? Idk I’ll ask her. The back of my hair is splitted
