10,000 HP Raum Just Got EVEN BETTER! - Paladins Raum Gameplay

Welcome back to another Paladins video! A few months ago, I showcased a build which allows Raum to surpass 10,000 hp utilizing the new item Veteran! Now, in Season 5, it's easier than ever to buy veteran, since you don't have the mandatory credit sink of cauterize! Plus, Veteran got buffed, allowing Raum to get a few hundred health shy of 11,000 hp!
On top of all that, there's a new item in the game called provision, which refunds ammo on elimination. Out of all the champions, Raum is best suited to utilize this new item, since he has both the highest ammo pool in the game and the longest reload in the game. But, just because he's the best champion to utilize this item, it doesn't mean that it's worth it to use it. So, I test out this new item on Raum in this video as well!

The whole video is a proof that Paladins gained a HUGE new dynamic without Cauterize Item ! I love creativity when I build deck, and this Raum video is a perfect example ! Thanks for that Upload !

But now people are picking 3 healer comps and win within the first 7 minutes. You can't rush cauterize to counter them immediately

Support main here. After the cauterize change I've been dreading having a solo tank Raum on my team because he can't do anything other than stand into enemy fire and never steps out of caut. Late game he just gets melted and no amount of healing short of a Rei ult can save him.

Raum is my main. I haven't noticed too much of an issue. But I'm pretty good at self-sustaining so maybe it's just me

It don't really matter if the raum knows what they're doing/building. I generate allot of shields for myself and the team while using his aoe heal card and I get lifesteal. So I'm a support myself as raum but while having a ton of hp with decent damage at that

hey andrew, i think it would be cool for you to make a video on provision, because raum and ruckus are kind of obvious candidates for the item, but what about nando and grohk who must never run out of ammo, or other champions that don't have such a large ammo count but still could benefit from the item. It's a item that i think most people want to know how to use and it could make a good video idea

it should also work great with vivian , maybe talus and koga, viktor, or if u are playing any build on any champion that requires you to never stop shooting

They could make it so Provision gives 1 ammo back per level as well as the % ammo. It wouldn't affect anybody who already benefits from the % based reload, but would make character like Pip or Androxus able to get 5 ammo back per elim

@@dukecatfishjunior6291 I mean, yeah, that too, but if it gave one extra ammo per level then it would be a bigger difference for champions with smaller ammo counts. Plus, it's not like it's a super useful item at the moment. On a more technical level, most coding languages default to cutting off decimals rather than rounding them. Switching it to round instead of chopping the decimal off would require an addition to the code, and while it could theoretically be simple, coding isn't always super straight forward with how things interact (just look at what happens if you declare certain variables without assigning them values in C++)

from what ive seen the best champ for provision isnt raum or ruckus, but actually grohk. with spirits domain talent and thunderlord at lvl 5 you already can just hold down left click and melt most champs, with provisions you almost fully regain all your ammo after each person. tested this in shooting and from just holding left click down on the fern you get almost all ur ammo back at level 3. pair this with the thunderstruck card giving you ammo regen on bounces you have unlimited ammo grohk that can just melt anything without reloads

What I don't like about Provisions, other than being really usefull only for some champions, is that it adds yet another item that some champions cannot pick at all. This situation is nothing new (Grover, Sha Lin, Koga, etc. have been in the game for a long time) but since Guardian we have items that a great group of champions cannot use instead of a few isolated cases. To make an extreme example consider Yagorath: she cannot pick Master Riding, Nimble, Deft Hands or Provisions at all, Illuminate, Resilience, Bulldozer and Wrecker depend on the enemy team and Rejuvenate and Guardian are useless if you don't have a Support or the right talent respectively. In the worst possible scenario Yagorath can choose between only 6 of the 16 items in the shop !

My favorite Raum skin is Heatsink for one main reason: The "Tribute" emote changes into a bunch of downvotes, which just I find absolutely amusing.

I usually don't run outta ammo with him regardless since he has am ability that grants infinite. Usually just reload after we wipe the team

I got raum ro 11637 hp to do this u need to have veteran (3) Sinister allies (5) Fanning the flames (4) Abyss connections (4) Desperation (4) Then I use infernal reload So how u do it is u boost his hp to 10637 Then use ignition then immediately use juggernaut it only last like 2-3 seconds but its really cool non the less

I believe aggression was a 5% increase per tier for 400 per tier I seem to remember it being pretty trash

This build I want to try for the memes of high HP XD I'm curious, have you tried an ignition spam build? This will be a terrible idea for those who doesn't like the Moji playstyle XD I tried Full Chronos and veteran, max DR, max CD, 2 points on ammo generation, 2 points for HP and random 1 point for the last card(probably the DR for q skill). This is mostly what I use and for me, it's a fun build for some reason but it's honestly just hold left and right button and aim so it will surely bore almost everyone here and idk what's the proper build for Raum XD

Aggression was a funny and terrible item. It was very expensive (400 credits), the % each tier was low (i think it was 4%) and haven 2 countered aggresion 3

Aggression was garbage and a noob trap item. It was never good, only gave 5% extra damage which was swallowed by Haven which gave 10% dmg reduction. Besides that it was the most expensive item in the game, I believe 400 credits which is how much you get at the start of the game. And Provision is not worth, you can literally run the ammo on ignition card as a good lvl1 card. You could be getting better items than Provision.

Raum is one of those tanks that are only enjoyable when you have one single counter in the enemy team. Much like drogoz, if he is not countered you can't do anything against him, but if he is countered by more than one enemy you are useless. Pretty sad
