Honestly after reading the balance changes, I’m not sure either will be viable supports. Skye could be played like essentially a passer in basketball, supporting her teammates but not making risky or big plays except maybe a good Ult. Now with her smoke bomb making her visible with her Smoke and Dagger talent, she can’t be the invisible healer she actually plays pretty well in and now she’s back to being the no-mobility flank who’s arguably worse than Moji in some cases.
@@matheusmartinhogalvani1716 TBF, Androxus needs that 1 cd punch because without it, he is mostly useless as he relies on his bursty combo. And also Talus' punch is mainly used as a movement ability since it's a dash rather than a punch.
I Play Paladins on PC and On Console, skye on Console is considered as a "A" Tier champ, but on PC is a "C"... People on Console don't buy iluminate so that's why they say "ban skye"...
Uhhh what? You have a PTSD, just because someone stole your kills? If you are in the backline (Damage) your function is hurt the enemies and kill them, but if someone stolen your kill, you should be proud of it, because you mastered the most part of the damage, and that's what matter... Flanks don't have nothing important to do in the arena, just get the enemies by a surprise attack, and take out their attention... So don't worry if your kill was stolen, you mastered the damage 😉
A pro Zhin is insane. Hard to kill and wipes multiple targets out fast. Meave is the most targeted champion so she will get focused every game. When zhin is focused he has strong mobility and can evade damage and just line of sight. You see pros use Zhin more then you see them use Meave. There is a reason for that.
Tip: the next time you play vora be more rapid or fast, what I mean by this is that use your obliteration more often but make sure that you use it after the dark siphon for phenomenal healing when you are going for the card that heals you when you hit a player with it, plus you are damage immune so no person can instantly lower your health. Another thing: always use your tendril after a kill if you can making use of your mobility and kill to heal. Good luck in the realm!!!

I’m a console Talus main, I actually just got him to level 50 today. His overcharged is really good, I love comboing it with a card that increases him ammo, you can fire for soo long, it’s especially helpful against tanks. I will say though, a good way to deal with him (so pretty much things that frustrates me when I play him) is playing burst/snipers champions like Kinessa, Evie and Buck, but the main thing that counters me when I play him are cripples, especially Tyra’s Burn Monster, that annoys me so much. Also people camping my mark is annoying, but I think that’s just poor placement on my half. I think you don’t see Talus as much because he’s better to play on console, and there are less console players than PC.
@@kerthy269 Champs being better/worse depending on whether PC and Controller are involved is actually a difference which is very minimal. No character is better on console than PC.
Bruh andro has always been perfect somehow and consistently one of the best flank somehow over multiple seasons I was as not surprised that he was number one
For me he is so good cuz his damage is often damage class worthy (in some patches I might say even above). And if you get a truly skilled player who can also hit like 2 headshots.. he is directly.. LEATHAL. (melts your whole health.. especially if you ain't a tank with fuII heaIth).

I want to see this list get updated after the Androxus nerf. I personally love VII right now as he is very fast and annoying and can easily kill in a burst. I love playing that dude as spiderman.
Yeah I main Evie (play her with a higher sensitivity than all other champs I play) and I DESTROY. She's tough though, so I understand why a lot of people are scared to play her.
From my month long grind on Vatu I'm confident to say that Vatu kill momentum is easily interrupted if he is CC'd by any means even with full resilience and make your gameplay less smooth. Playing Vatu after getting CC'd is like trying to drive a sports car through rocky roads.
The main advantage of Andro is that he still strikes heavy (sometimes he was even like a truck) :D Have a player who can also kinda aim at the head area and he is even more lethal.
My vote would have been Skye. With the right build you can be invisible almost the entire game, not to mention how fast you can heal yourself in the smoke, she's probably not the best at any one category but I think she's the most all-around character in the game
@@a.k.axurai5678 ye because buck is anti flank but I defo wouldn't say buck hard counters maeve. I'm not sure about Evie cause I don't play her but I imagine it doesn't hard counter her either. And maeve and evie are more versatile and have better poke.
Imo, the community was wrong, Vatu second bc of burst, monility, and sustain and vora first bc of poke, mobility, ability to cripple, sustain, good finisher, and dr
Evie is the best when mastered. I easily wipe good maeves when playing Evie because of blink. I think she would defeat Vatu in close quarters but Vatu is overall better for more fights.
I agree that all these flanks are in the top 5. In my opinion, I would change the top 3. My Top 5: 1. Vatu 2. Andro 3. Vora 4. Zhin 5. Buck As an Androxus main, the ammo nerf REALLY made a dent to his consistency and flow for me. I think Vatu is the best flank now because he's one of the most mobile champs and does have good range if you use the flick tech. It makes his kunai pin point accurate from far range and allows all 3 to hit. His TTK is the fastest with the burst combo and has more sustain than Andro does with stuff like contemplation and his DR cards. Not to mention his cooldowns are much faster and does not rely on chaining elims to get dashes. The last point I'm gonna make is that I see Vatu banned in ranked more than I do Andro (In Plat and Diamond). Of course this is my opinion, but this is how I would list the top 3.
I came back after a year long hiatus and played my boy andro, it took no time at all to realize I was losing many gun fights because of lack of ammo, granted he kind of needed a nerf because he could beat any tank in a 1v1 too, but still... made me sad
Discovery lex is literally an anti-tank and adrenaline junkie koga allows for easy claw spam without having to get cards for self sustain or having a healer.
I personally play buck like an assassin. I have the extra bulk up on, and short cool downs with chronic while making net last longer. Basically I sneak up, or try to, shoot one shot, than net them, then finish em off. Bulk up is nice to get some extra health in case you’re gonna die for what ever reason, and then I can launch out of the battle if need be.
I think andro feeling strong is just a skill diff, if there is a skill gap between you and the enemy then andro can abuse it super hard but with same level players hes kinda meh
Nope ur prob just better at the game Andro is best flank he has better range and can still somewhat compete up close with burst but everyone has their opinion ✊🏾
@@Its_Cj_Bih good points, andro has great burst but is outshined by vatus burst up close in terms of all around damage output. he’s able to close the distance on andro with his ambush ability which eliminates a long range fight between the two champions. i hear you tho and respect your points✊
In that case i have a lv65 Skye but that doesn’t make her a top-tier flank, unfortunately she’s stuck as a healer who can deal damage and contest objective whilst not bringing too much attention to herself with her smoke & dagger talent. In other words, it’s less about what flank beats other flank in a 1v1, but what flank beats other flank * in general *
@@Nico07312 i see what you’re saying, more about an overall better flank not 1v1s but most of the time as a flank that’s what you’re looking for, a 1v1. i think it’s boils down to play style where u can have that range dps with andro but burst up close dps with vatu. only thing andro has over vatu is the range. where as in vatu ambushes andro would be poking from a distance
Same, i am vatu 50 but vora is better. For me Vora#1 and Vatu #2. Androxus isnt that good now, when we have so many good flanks, his dmg is all he can throw on deck against sustains, better mobility, better dmg even(sometimes like with koga) or DRs. Androxus need no buff tho, he just strong TOP 3, just my opinion.
Am i the only one who likes to use the godslayer talent i love to shoot enemies then use reversal then when they think i made a mistake and they will just stay in front of me without shooting until it runs out they get 800 dmg outta nowhere and die almost all the time, because everyone thinks every andro uses cursed revolver so they just have to hold their shot until reversal ends it surprises them every time
Nope. If u land all ur shots and avoid voras right-click, u can't lose to her. I just got my shattermaw gun and it's so easy to hit headshots. I pretty much 3 tapped her.
Well about win duels its about the player who is using the champions not the champions(for most of the extent)becuz i have seen some players deleting vora or any high tier flanks with skye or even lex.
My personal opinion is that lex is better. Not the exact movement but, you can slightly heal, can make much damage and you can slight in the middle of a fight. Not to mention that you can make 25% more damage to the marked enemies from lex's killer thing, you even can see those people through the wall when they are near you
Vatu > Maeve? In low Elo sure. But the better the Maeve gets at aiming, the riskier Vatu becomes. You said it yourself Vatu has a range limit, about 100 units, plus putting yourself right into the enemies face is a gamble. Vatu has DR, true, but he's not damage immune. He an honorable mention at most.
I'm a Talus lover, talus has erverything what I think, a flanker need to have, to be a flanker. A flanker is like a assassin and thats talus. I would never say, he is number one in this list, cause he cant do vertical like andro, or cant be a litle brawler like andro BUT With teleport and reveal from enemies under 65% life you see your spots and can go straight forward to use you overcharge for the weapon and melee and kill enemies pretty fast. Stationary targets like kinessa, strix, or most healers are damn easy kills. And if you get too much damage teleport away and do the whole thing again. While waiting for teleport you can even fight on mid range with your primary gun mode, cause it is pretty accurate. I love talus and do the most kills, and big streaks. I think talus is pretty underrated in this game. I see this champ really rare.
I maining Vora BC im a controler players i used to play andro but playing on controler as andro isn't very effective especially on ranked battles. Also I expected all those chats but didn't know vora will be that high
Yeahh Vora is really good on PC. She's a highly vertically-mobile flank, a secondary damage, a really good tank shredder, and an anti-flank all in one champ, also with really good sustain. She's also probably the best flank or champ in general when it comes to long duels, seriously, there's a reason I've forced Frontlines to waste their abilities on me so much.
@@mementomori2365 I main him on console and yeah he's strong, but hes simply stronger on pc because of his flick potential. Still definitely one of the top 3 regardless of platform

Where would you place Talus? I find him super fun and I’m pretty easily killing other higher lvl roles. Using inner strength or nothing personal (inner strength is more to my play style)
I'm gonna be real with ya chief. Evie is the best flank on PC because her outplay potential allows here to 1v1 any champ in the game and win almost guaranteed if you know the game well enough. Andro is maybe like 2 or 3rd.
Cap on the andro part, no matter how good you are at 1 v 1ing, there are teammates believe it or not in paladins, and cc can destroy eviel in a heartbeat, andro can manage
i dont agree with putting vatu in and not evie just because theyre similar, because objectively, id say buck and zhin get outclassed by evie for the most part, and anything they can do, she can do as well. and while i agree that vatu has some great mobility, his retreat options are limited if facing a good damage player, simply inferior to evie's if she is running wormhole. in higher ranks, its all about opportunity anyways, you dont snowball kills from the backline of an enemy team with either of those champions, so why would you base their effectiveness on their ability to snowball? Id also say her ability to block damage is highly underrated when comparing the two. lastly, saying that evie is harder to use effectively and requires a lot of skill, and then putting buck on the same list, is just weird to me. yea buck is a lot easier to use but to use effectively takes immense skill
When i waz playing androxus back in time it waz op when he had the 6 bullet fast shoot on his right click then he got nerfed but still played it bcz waz good and now he is still undisputed
Well, as a main vatu, I think that if u master his dashes and his shoots, he may be number 1, but I can see that androxus, as my ex main flanker, is shure indeed the best flanker of all of them.
I have a good loadout for Andro, it isn't really that good but personally it does the job for me and its great for my playstyle. idk the actual card names so imma just put the effects here heal on dash 4 cd reset when elim/kill 4 ammo on punch 2 distance of dash 3 movement speed after dash 2
Nah, he is top1 jus because of old men who will think that andro is the best flank ever just because he was in beta and he have damage. Oh, and some of them think that andro is better cuz he is good in 1v1 custom matches. But Vora have better sustain, no dmg falloff, cripple, slow and execute. Its much better then andro's kit. A lot of players will think that andro is the best even if he will be absolutely outclassed by every other flanker just because it is andro but not because he is really best. Just my opinion
Vora's only mobility is her ult and trendril it isn't the best and she doesn't do too much dmg, her cc immunity ability is a pain, i would say she's a pure balanced champion while Andro has a dash and his cards are plain good, does too much dps, and has a better runaway if you use your dashes right. You don't see too much good andros. In my opinion vatu has a better kit than vora and he's more annoying because of his combos and that he's a jumpy boy thats a lot of mobility. I'd put vora on 4 here. Zhin's ult in my opinion is a better exercute than vora's because you need to be up in their face with vora and with zhin he moves forward, does a lot of dmg, and consistently runs away with billow and surviving. Yeah buck deserves to be here as a flank. best close range champion and deals too much dps and a lot of lifesteal but vora tops off buck.
This list applies to basically high plat and above. Most of the player base is below plat 2, so the REAL list for flanks in no particular ordee is lex, talus, skye, zhin, androx.
Man not even an honest Le mention to Koga and the infuriating almost unlimited dashes with sure low damage on smg but a lot of ammo. Using adrenaline junkie with a good hybrid loadout between the claws and smg with some health Regen between dashes or agility. Just seemed like he was ignored cause almost no burst unless in dragon stance combo hit 2 base attacks maybe 3 and a skewer.
Koga! Like how is koga no where on this list at all like not even an honorable mention? He can dash 3 times same as Vatu and avoid all damage. His claws are great for quick hard hits to finish people. He can climb walls to flank. Plus his ultimate wrecks entire groups. Him and Evie are the best in my opinion, but he should’ve at least got a shout out like my girl did.
Kogas Ult gets countered by Brain Cells once you move up the ranks (Like Skye Bomb), and his SMGs suck. If he uses his Claws, he loses the stuff what gives him his mobility. Also, he lacks the survivability Zhin or Buck have
@@jensmeyer4542 with his cards he has plenty of builds to make health regen loadouts combine with his dash he can survive just as easy as those 2, and it’s just simply learning when to use his claws vs his SMGs on certain champs but switching back and forth takes a second wreck tanks with claws and shoot fast on smaller champs to recharge your bars. It’s all about preferred style I know but my guy getting left off hurt 😔 ninjas need love 2 lol 😂

I kind of expected Talus here. As a Platinum ranked player who played Paladins for 6 years now, he's the most hard to kill flank. And I wouldn't say Vaatu is better than Maeve. For me, Maeve is the most op flank especially when you mastered it and when you're also good at aiming. Maeve also has the best evasiveness and maneuvering because of her double jumps. I can even easily kill a Yagorath on 1v1 without trying to escape back and forth in the fight haha
Completely true every flank is everywhere it depends how good you are but i guess if somebody on the exact same skill lvl every game you would be abel to know for sure
Sure I'm lvl 120 her So uhh Sustain That's it And poke If you try to flank as her Eh There are moments here and there But once a lian,tibirius, Imani, bk or anyone who has someone else to help them you will be ripped apart like a pice of paper Her mobility is fine BROKEN and FUN But it doesn't matter if you get shut down in under 3 sec So really she is a poker Not a close and personal like most flankers Hell even in the trailers she wasn't depicted correctly So short and simple Boring poker with high sustain Literally grover without healing or deep root Play her otherwise And get shredded
@@fortyinch also, something else i love to do is ulting an Ash after she ults or a Terminus, feels so good. Whenever i use those champions and there's an enemy khan, i always make sure they already ulted before i use mine bc of that lol
im probably just awful at the game, but how is talus not on here? he literally has an entire ability to out-dps anyone, and can teleport to safety at any time and if you don't think he's a good flank how can i counter him?
Just because he's not top 5, doesn't mean he's bad. He's especially effective if you play with controller, because he's not flick dependent like most strong PC flanks are, and his weapon works really well with aim assist.
just realized The healer Flank he was talking about was either moji or skye damn i was here being happy since I thought he was talking about Flank Corvus But i Guess not flank corvus Is really fun and atleast for me a Viable pick, But yeah its more of a Gimmick Flank i guess
@@shosakazaki my other friend is a Seris Main so whenever we play, We always tend to go double support comps where i am able to play corvflank , Series ult plus corv ult = free wins lol
