@Ripsaw EV-2 For a light weight car like this, the motorcycle engine is a perfect fit. The car feel brutal but it was built for auto cross.

@kher33, I believe the muffler was an afterthought. The guy who was selling it tried to make it street legal for California hence the muffler.

@Nick_Chang_, the previous owners was in the process of converting it. But the current owner wanted an autocross and track car.

@@JioniDrive I have interested in having a lotus 7. If you use bike engine,how transmission works?by chain or axle? And how to reverse?

@Nick_Chang_ looks like custom drive shaft- no chain. The rear axle is from an FA or FB RX7. I don’t believe there is a reverse gear.

I mean just like a caterham it's basically a copy of a lotus 7. Can you blame the guy for putting a lotus sticker on there. It's a pretty cool machine regardless

@davidbrown8517, I should have done a little research. It’s a Locost Kit. Not a Lotus or Caterham.

@salinoraO, it is a fun car. Even though it’s not a Lotus. Great car for auto cross. But as we found out, can’t pass safety inspection for a track day.
