You are my favorite RU-vid personality (if I can say that). You are always informative, humorous, creative and genuine. All rare and valuable qualities that I appreciate so much. Thank you and congratulations.
Congratulations! That's huge. Best of luck on you new V/O offerings. I can't really sing but I keep doing it......pondering your new service. Looking forward to your review of Roswell Audio Mics. PS. Keep making it fun, love the jokies.
Hahaha. That’s awesome! Thank you! And yes! Roswell mics are coming soon! I still have a stack of mics beside me right now that I’m reviewing so, trying to stagger them! Cheers!
I really like honest people who do not wear masks. I like a man who speaks spontaneously and does not care. To be honest with you, I really liked you. You have a fun personality and always make me laugh, and you have an amazing and luxurious voice. I found you while searching for microphone comparisons, and I was amazed by your mountainous voice and found accurate comparisons. Also, you are making efforts in your clips, so continue and things will improve. If you want to expand the channel, talk about general topics or hot issues in society. Good luck to you,Your follower from Saudi Arabia🇸🇦
Wow. Thanks so much! I never thought my voice was anything other than annoying. Haha. I appreciate your extraordinary words of encouragement and your kindness!
@@TheRecordist I am a birder, trying to learn and practice nature sounds recording. Natural soundscapes seems to be shrinking. So, I couldn’t agree more with your idea of “preservation of time”. I am glad came across your channel. It is very educative, helpful, honest, and amusing! Hope you keep going.
@@jorgeblackhall4029 thanks very much! I think birding is awesome! And yep, the sound pollution is seemingly everywhere, and preserving what we can will be so important! Cheers and good luck on your audio journey!
That's AMAZING dude!! I wanna tell ya' i don't really sub to channels anymore however, i made an exception for your excellent self. You are super genuine and it shows. You aren't fake, you LOVE what you do and that's so cool and THAT, is what matters to me. Keep on keeping on dude, you helped me make the decision to get the Lauten Atlantis that use over the ol' Neaumann!
Congrats! Many more to come for sure! PS: Looks like the kozrog 747 has competition! Cough UA cough cough! :) Would be nice to ear what you think about it!
Hahaha. Thanks very much! And yes, the UA one is great, but I’m partial to the Kazrog version. And also the UA one is the 737 and not the 747. Slightly different. But you can’t go wrong with either! Cheers!
@@TheRecordist Oh yeah! You made the distinction between the two in the 747 video. I should not go back there anymore so that the seven forthy seveeeen song eventually leaves my head
Small or big, I love each and every video you upload and wish you become the biggest channel about audio gear. Your passion is so big as my passion for photography and you find very seldom such a lifetime passion.
Congratulations! You really earned this 10,000 Subscribers and I'm sure you will even get much more soon. You have a great way of presenting things in an entertaining but also really credible manner!
Congratulations, Nate. There is something to be said about 10K subscribers without any real marketing. There are also the thousands who have been watching a number of your videos and just haven't subscribed yet. Maybe after seeing a few more they will. I know I am glad I found your channel. You've got all the content I am looking for, and a couple things I didn't know I needed. Can't wait for 100K!!
Congrats on the 10k! Well deserved! Stay out of the shadows, you are such a unique and entertaining YT host. The platform needs more of that uniqueness.
Once upon a time I used camera audio, but I got to noticing the noise trying to capture bird song & so I researched recorders & found your review of the H1essential & wanting a low cost way in I bought one & learned how to use Audacity & then today I bought a Clippy EM272M, stereo following your review. Thank you so much for introducing me to the delights of audio recording & every congratulation on your 10,000 subscribers. Thank you for all you share!
I only ordered the Clippy EM272M today, so waiting on delivery. What your videos gave me was a budget friendly path to upgrade from my initial H1essential with quantitative information as to expected performance without the confusing qualitative eye & ear candy that fills so many other video. From your videos I understood that there were better ways to start, better instruments, better connectors, but all came with higher prices & size which didn’t really suit my occasional user interest. In between uses I can forget settings so I find the audio on the H1 essential helpful because it lets me know how it is set, battery life & storage life directly & reassures me I haven’t inadvertently set something wrong or have limited batteries & storage left. I have grown out of the limits of the built in mics, but thanks to your video I knew the upgrade path with the Clippy that would suit my predominantly bird song & natural audio environment interests. Thank you for sharing & helping!
This video spurred me into ordering (while still listening here) a sE4100 microphone. The first time I've purchased a mic after listening to ONE review.
you are hilarious buddy you remind me of Robin Williams lol. You can certainly crossover to other topics on youtube. Congrats on 10k! dont be too Against marketing it would probably be worth every penny
Hahaha. Thanks! I get Robin Williams a lot. Haha. As far as expanding what I do here, I’m told by much smarter people than me to “niche down”. So not sure. Thanks for the comment!
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy !!! Congratulations!!!! 🎉edit: After watching further and hearing those comments you got maaaaaan that makes me MAD!!! You are extremely funny and the jokes are part of your charm as a ou deliver a lot of techie information. As for the personal jibes well I’ll make a voodoo doll later so they get shocks in their sad dark evil little rooms … Makes me so mad !!!!
Hahaha. Well thank you, Paul! I honestly don’t get many negative comments at all. Maybe 0.5% of all comments are negative. But the occasional one does happen from time to time. I fully expected a lot more insults when I started this thing. But I appreciate your supportive words, man! Hahaha. And I laughed! ❤️
@@TheRecordist what I don’t get though is why on a tech/musical channel anyone would be watching who would insult your physical appearance? If you were some outspoken ass then yes trolls go for you but I didn’t think a channel or a bloke like you would even have an audience member like that. Really upsets me mate and one reason I would never run a channel as I’d lose my temper :-)
@@paulg3388 hahaha. Understood! I was unsure at first. There are so many horrible people online. It’s like it’s cool to be a bad guy these days. But I was pleasantly surprised by how few I get. I tossed a few of the bad comments as photos under my community tab here. Not many at all! Thanks for looking out for me!
@@TheRecordist Yeah, my two gaming channels combined have like 80k subs. maybe more but.......With gaming channels (especially if the game does not have a huge you tube following ) a lot of people only paly a game for a short time and quit or some people may pay for a year or two so i can expect 1k to 3k views on average, some get a bit more, i think views are more important that subs these days but you hitting 10k is good, your doing a good job with your channel.
Just got here .. and subbed .. must be the next line of the additional 10K subscribers ... cant beleive how i missed your channel all these years,, but here i am ,.,and a little help .. I work on Reason 12 ,,and looking for a new DAW for a collab with a freind of mine whos starting out new .. LUNA has been released for windows and was thinking of picking it up as its on sale till july 22 .. then i also had my eyes on Cubase 13 or logic or Reaper,.. we have already got Kontakt 14 standard .. looking for your channel on gears and stuff guidance have seen you on LUNA for some videos . is it the Free Version of the PRO and whats your thoughts on it ,, Again all the Best .. your videos are Entertaining funny and lots of the ins of Audio .. love it
Hey thanks so much! Well, it really depends on what you’re doing and if you’re on Windows or Mac. It seemed like you’re on Windows until you said Logic might be an option for you. Logic is Mac only. I use Luna a lot. I have the full pro version. I own an Apollo and then bought all the internal upgrades. If you don’t use a lot of MIDI, Luna is great. It’s more for recording with a mic. Like miking a guitar or piano or vocals or stuff like that. Not so much MIDI instrument. It can do that, but not well. It’s also great for mixing. If you’re Mac, Logic has everything you’d ever need and much more. Studio One is another one and it’s crazy good - and you can be on Windows or Mac. I found Reaper to be so feature-heavy that it’s almost a giant mess. Huge learning curve. For my work flow, if I’m recording or mixing, I’m in Luna. If I’m doing heavy MIDI stuff, I’m in Logic. Hope this helps!
