Big West Swell at Uluwatu is always scary and not many people
have the balls to paddle out! In the morning a few guys out just before hightide with their 8ft+ guns..
As the tide started to drop in the afternoon, more and more people try their luck on the outside corner, as it was less cleanup sets and was running better than the Bombie in the morning.

I didn't wanted to put all the previous duckdives into the video, this was maybe the 5th wave from the set,he just managed all 4 before that one,so kinda unlucky a bit. He got washed away and took a good amount of time to get back to the lineup. Also imagine diving thoose 9 foot boards ..

Spent two weeks in the Warung with Ketut Pitur here in 94. Got two pulses in that time this big. It’s very heavy going. Aside from that, scoring an empty outside corner or racetrack at sun up with only a couple of us out there, some of the best memories of my life.

Haha yess and old sheds where we ate Nazi Goreng and got massage from a old woman. No LUXURY high end bling place. Nice quiet place. Its destroyed now most of the coastline. Money hungry investors 🤧

WHAT! What did they do this place? Last time I was there was 1980. There were 3 warungs. That view of the cliff ... absolutely disgusting.

Actually the other day one of the guys called Made has his 50th Birthday, he owns a warung there too and he showed me a pic when he was like 10 years old carrying boards up in the cave!

Yeah.. this measuring are physicaly not correct. For mechanical waves like water waves there is just amplitude (axis to crest) or peak to peak (trough to crest) the right two meassuring methodes.

@@SurfRawFiles Yes. It is more like 8ft with hawaiian mushrooms maybe😂😂. I'am using the breaking or / falling time of the waves and calculating it with the free fall formula.
