Thank you so much. This is the best guide I watched for a casual player like me. This will help me to get back to wow and my monk. I was kind of lost and overwhelmed with all the skills!
I really appreciate that! Yeah I know monk is so overwhelming, so my main goal is to try and simplify it as much as possible and leave out a lot of the spells that have little to no use!
Another few points: If you run out of the Jadefire stomp buff for fist weave healing, and you don't have a reset for it - cast and cancel essence fint to refresh the buff, this interaction goes away next expansion Monks CC kit is actually amazing, use Planter, and a good player profile to help with understanding what and when to kick, Quazii does amazing plater profiles. When stepping off your Jadefire stomp the buff persists for a while like 8 seconds(?) be sure to track it, get a weakaura helps. Learning what mobs hit hard before they hit is quite important as MW, optimally if you know your tank will take a very heavy amount of damage over time, you would cast, (Renewing mist - soothing mist - enveloping mist - vivify spam) that's 4 globals before you start healing, or chiji (Jadefire stomp - "oh shit i forgot to stack blackout kicks realisation" - tiger palm - chiji - blackout kick) even without the forgetting to stack blackout kick means 3 globals, you can be a reactionary healer, but it's not the best at it. You can precast sheiluns gift, that can be very helpful at places like algethar academy on vexamus for example
I know I'm late to the game because Ive just come back from quitting as a Blood DK back in WotLK. But... Holy shit, man. This was super helpful. I've been struggling to find a rhythm with Mistweaver. Thank you so much for this.
LB I can't tell you how much I appreciate you for this. Every patch/update/xpac that comes out I actively seek out your guidance for changes....I had NO idea about chi burst to reset jade fire! Thank you again!!!
hey mate, really good and informative guides, helped me out alot, much appreciated! i checked your twitch, dont stress about answering chat questions during dungeons, most of us are there to watch how you play :)
Trinkets: slot 1 Fyrakks slot 2 has a few options, Neltharion's call to dominance, Broodkeepers, Iceblood Deathsnare, or one of the many stat sticks like OCE or Rashok's depending on what you want!
Thank you so much! As for Essence Font, we don't press it. You would get more healing out of just pressing vivify since you should always have at least 2 renewing mists to also cleave of of!
hi. @LBNinja7 : Is it worth playing fistweaver playstyle in raids? Even if its not as good as the current raid talents are...it would be fine for me if its only ok instead of beeing great 🙂
You 100% can!! Yes it theoretically can't hit the same numbers as the other build, but how often do you do the theoretical max hps of your build lol! A fistweaving build can perform pretty well in heroic raids, bit remember to still cast vivify since you'll have a lot of renewing mists out!
You can, but you really want to play AS IF this isn't an option, trying to always have your jadefire stomp available, however, essence font is always there as a backup!
I would need to shake off my WW rust a bit before I felt confident enough to make a WW guide, but, don't tell anyone... That may or may not happen this season in a series ;)
Mastery only scales healing from your mastery procs, while vers and crit scale vivify, vivify cleave, enveloping breath… every source even including mastery. You’ll just heal more by putting stats elsewhere!
No I don't. Essence font is really good healing while you level, but eventually it gets out healed by casting a single vivify since that hits so hard and also heals every renewing mist target!
As someone who hasn't played since ShadowLands, is "fistweaving vs mistweaving" no longer a thing? Is everyone just a fistweaver now? What about in Raid situations? All vids I see seem to focus on fistweaving, to the point where I'm confused.. as it was a niche build back when I played. 😅
It's more that it's just a playstyle that's suited to m+. They've made it to where spinning crane kick heals too, so now your healing scales with how big the pull is so in a game mode where you pull more than 1 enemy a lot, it performs well!
It's never a BAD idea to have good enveloping mist uptime on the tank, however the calculation for Ancient teachings is just 1.5x the damage done. for example i just tested on training dummies to make sure and I had an enveloping mist on a dummy, ancient teachings buff, then kicked another dummy for 67006 damage. Ancient teachings healed the dummy with enveloping mist on it for 100,509, which is 1.5x the damage the rsk did!
Really struggling at the moment during high group damage, such as add phase on last boss of nokhud. Knowing when to stop fistweaving and start casting also. Any tips? ( obviously Shei Luns etc on cool-down) cheers
for that fight i generally dont use my chiji/sheilun that much and try to top up ppl solely from fistweaving at phase 1, popping big stuff for adds transition as p2 is where the real pain from (pool from aoes/vacuum spear etc) and yes if all my big cds are down and fistweaving is not enough output i just cleave vivifying with soothing
Just know that the most healing that you can do is during your chiji window, so I always line my chiji's up with giant damage phases like this! Try to cleave on 2 adds and spread enveloping mists fast! Then use your instant vivify to captitalize on the many hots that come with the Chiji rotation!
I usually try to help out there by paralyzing one add that’s far to the outside. Then I try to ROP the add next to the para’d to bring it into the group. This part is a lot easier if everyone just helps to group them up. Then you can cleave heal easier and use Gift to fill in. Also rolling through defensives you can focus on the others more.
Hi, which healer would you recommend for someone who enjoys a reactive gameplay. I used to main resto shaman back in shadowlands season 1, and it was the most fun I've had in wow. Now with druid I feel like I'm not the one doing the healing, if you know what I mean.
been searching for a vid for how to spend ur bullions on mist, on wowhead they don't talk about the fryrakk trinket at all for healers....icyviens does. It seems very strong in M+. I guess I'll just go with seedling first since I'm raiding and I think its just another big cd in m+ for harder stuff? Obviously it would be weapon first if you don't have a high ilvl one already but what about damage trinkets for mist in dungeons. Wowhead shows suncaller but doesn't talk about it at all in the bis list.
It all depends on what gear you already have and what your goals are. If you don't have a weapon, that will give you the best stat boost atm. Or if you want a trinket there are some solid options. If you don't have a seedling from last season and want the best raid option, then its the one. If you have a seed from last season, get broodkeepers or neltharion's call to dominance. And finally if you have a weapon already and ONLY care about m+, fyrakks is a great one to pick up! PERSONALLY, I went with Fyrakks as my first bullion as my guild isnt raiding this tier so I only care about pushing m+, and I also already have a seedling from last season and a Heroic weapon!
Hey mate, been on your discord but can't find your healbot ui, do you mind posting it on your discord ? I will add that i really like this video and give a chance to your talent tree, i've got one that i really like with more passive cd but well testing is progressing ! Have a nice day !
I don't have the spell on my bars, instead I have a simple macro In it's place that removes the delay between spinning crane kicks. /cast !spinning crane kick

I mean ancient teachings isn't the only talent I talk about here lol. But as for every interaction you run in this build, this video includes everything you need to know!
LOL i know right! I think the base mastery you can get is pretty high like around 50%, but this was also toward the beginning of the season when i was still gearing my character!
New Mistweaver playstyle is sad, I can "heal" a whole dungeon just pressing my 3.5 damage abilities. Chi-Ji is boring, much unlike Yu'lon with green beams and mists flying everywhere. Oh, you want group healing? Just press Sheilun's Gift. I love the fact that Mistweaver is powerful, but I miss the caster side. I wish they gave MW some ranged alternative play for DPS. Crackling Jade Lightning and Zen Pulse just doesn't cut it.
@@Buruleque Me too, I've mained Mistweaver since MoP, but today's Mistweaver if vastly different to how it has always been. I only do M+ now, but since Shadowlands I've been playing all the healing specs in M+ up to around level 18/20s. I'm enjoying MW less every time they add to their damage to healing conversion, as for me it really dumbs down the spec. Even Holy Priest/RSham requires more concentration now. 😂
The only window that you get meaningful value from it is during chiji, and putting stats into mastery doesn't make your chiji windows that much stronger as opposed to putting it in vers or crit which also empower chiji as well as outside of chiji
