For anyone having issues with the carplay not connecting sometimes just go to the tablet SETTINGS -> Wifi and connections -> hotspot -> Make sure it's active and on 2.4 ghz. sometimes it's not working in 5 ghz and that's why it does not connect.
Thanks for the install instructions. I bought this unit from you and just completed the installation and am having one problem. The reverse/backup camera feature doesn't work. When I put the car in reverse and the android screen is already booted up, absolutely nothing happens. I need to go to the NTG menu to see the back up camera and it works fine there. Any ideas?
Sadly I found this out afterwards but if you own a manual car you can not use the reverse camera with the car you will need to buy a 3rd party one and attach it.
Bought the RoadTop screen for my CLA 2015 NTG5.0. i have one major issue. Whenever i'm in Carplay and there is music and i get a phone call the sound of that call is gone. When i check my phone i see its on "localhost", the person hears me but i dont hear them. When i hang up, the music is back on. So there is sound... The USB Box only had a aux output cable that i needed to put in Audio Output in the screen harness, i had no white/red cables for audio. So anyone has a solution?
I have cla 2016 and I also have the same issue, I only installed mine yesterday and have to say great interior upgrade adding the widescreen 12.3” massive compared to the standard MB screen looks amazing however on installation I noticed I never received red or white cable that I seen plugging in on the video, however I though maybe the connectors changed and no longer a need them as oldish video,, so completed the install and I tested it once all available cables attached and it all worked well and was made up, it all seamed to work correctly. CarPlay and Spotify work great,, But i downloaded RU-vid and Netflix (not on my phone on the new screen) as an app however there was no audio.! I then noticed that the audio from car play and Spotify was coming from my phone playing and connecting the audio though the MB bluetooth and not the screen connecting to the cars audio.. I have then made my phone forget the MB Bluetooth and now no audio at all from what is on the screen. Please advise or send me the cable..
In a CLA, with dsp box, and without usb aux adapter, system, Ntg5 is it possible to place the 2 usb ports on the center console, without making a hole or having to drill? Or they have to stay in the glove compartment

it's really not a problem ... to the point where you have to stow all cables behind the Comand ... An extension should be available here so that at least some of the cables can be laid in the center tunnel the wiring harness should also be made a little more modular so that the cables that are not needed are attached separately
everything ok with my screen except for the original rearview camera, it only works when I use the original car screen, it doesn´t come out automatically when I put in reverse. Mine is a manual.

@@Miguel_Amaral that is the 4G antenna, not the wifi antenna. 4G antenna is for SIM card function. 4G antenna can be hidden, as you can see in the video. The GPS antenna will be put in the front of the front windshield, with the purpose to get a better signal, as showed in the video.

Hi i have installed the monitor and all went well. I only have three problems. I see the rear camera only in the factory interface. Music doesn’t go on spotify when i ricive messages on whatsapp. And the last but the most important the speedometer doesn’t go, i see every time that is 0.

Try the rubber band technique or go at it from behind with pliers, if that doesn't work maybe burner to weaken the metal, take a screw driver and hit it with a hammer where the cross should be.
KC Knows Best I ended up directly messaging the supplier through Whatsapp. It took several days of messaging back and forth and working on the system, mainly because they are in a different time zone and we had to keep waiting for responses from each other. Eventually I did get it all fixed though. But it was a lot of steps and a lot of little things that needed tweaking.

For clarity I have connected the AUX usb from the unit to the center console. On my harness it included 4 RCA’s. 2 INS and 2 OUTS all Red or White. Does it make a difference in using RCA IN Or RCA OUT? This might be the problem so I will check again. 2. As far as Bluetooth it finds the Channel but it says “connection failed” also the phone I’m using is an IPhone.
