Happy Anniversary!!! My wife and I will celebrate 35 years on March 29th. We have been together since I was 12 and she 14. Got married when I was 16 and I’m 51 now. Our love gets stronger every day.
I'm so honored that you guys are back making videos again. You're the only ones making the important videos. The ones that show you the important things, not overlook and what maybe to modifyou guys have taught more people with what you. Show in your videos, then you have any idea. I had no clue about transmissions was completely scared of them. And now I'm ready to take themonth but as I can see in every different application. There is a ton of different tools. So it's goal to colllect tools for 4L60E. It's gonna be my next project. Thank you for all you do. I mean it from the heart. Thanks
Happy Anniversary guys on 32yrs. We celebrated our anniversary February 18th for 40yrs and 43 together. You guys make a hell of a team. Takes work for sure. Thanks for all the vids over the years.
Thank y’all for making these videos. Everything I know about transmissions is from you Richard. I’ve always wanted to know how they work and you have done amazing job explaining how these work and go together. I really appreciate it
Richard, it's amazing to me how you can remember everything about any transmission you work on 👌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 You never said what was causing the issue with it or was it just the loose tail housing?
Happy Anniversary R&T. 32 years for us this Fall. I bought new a 91' XL-T 4x4 that had a great engine, the straight 6, unfortunately bolted up to an AOD Trans. Junk.
Not surr if it's in your wheel house, but I would love to see some 6R80 content! There is a recall and the torque converters are crap. You guys are great people, all the best!
Happy anniversary to you two. You both are the best in youtube. I have follow the old chanel pression transmission and now this new chanel. I like this more than ever . Huge gettings from Sweden 🇸🇪🇸🇪❤️👍
If any of the AOD or 4R70w engineers are still alive, I'd love a video of them being along with a teardown explaining along the way. Such a wacky transmission.
Happy Anniversary to you both, you're such a wonderful couple and it's a joy to watch the way the two of you carry on. Richard, do you ever work on front wheel drive transmissions? I have a 4T40E for my Pontiac that I want to rebuild and would like some pointers if you know any. Thanks
Ford got cheap with the later ones. Did away with the reinforcement plate under 3rd gear accumulator. Those ones sometimes ended up with cracks in the separator plate. mine would shift flawlessly 1-4, but try to pass someone and it would neutral out then slam 3rd or second. Never tore it down, but suspect either a cracked separator plate, or 3rd accumulator piston leaking.
Do you ever do any 10L90E work. I bought one with an lt4 from a zl1 to put in my 70 c10. If I ever have any problems I know who I want to work on it, but never seen one of the Chanel.
He gets them from Transtar, who sources their products from various companies, such as Sonnax, Transtec, Durabond, G-Cor, OEM Dealerships, and more. Transtar sells more than just rebuild kits, they have a bunch of other components such as hard parts, bearings, bushings, individual seals, and valve body parts.
