10 Acres Campground, Addison, VT. Good for a quick night or two, but pick your site carefully.

Very picturesque area. Fall is the time to be here. Close to museums and historic sites. We enjoyed His Majesty's Fort at Crown Point, Fort St. Frederic, and the Champlain Memorial Lighthouse. All within walking distance of the parking area in the Crown Point Fort. We walked the area and it was about 2 miles of walking. We could have spent even more time there had we not pooped out. But it is definitely worth seeing.
There is a Walmart in Fort Ticonderoga about 18 minutes away, easy drive. Shops for other necessities are scattered through the area, so use your MAPS to find anything you need.
The campground is mostly, 90%, seasonal residents. There was only 1 rv occupied within 10 other rvs next to us. Avoid site 81 and 82 unless you are tenting, very steep slopes on grass. Watch the video again to look at sites 83, 84 and 86 if that section is all you can choose. Sites A2 though A6 at the entrance area looked ok, but will require some jockying around to get level.
This is the only time in all of our 6 years of camping I couldn't adjust to and park on a site (81).

You need a Taylor Coach!😆 we have had our tires 4" off the ground, to get level! Taylor Coaches have leveling jacks, not stabalizing jacks, they are built quite different than most trailers, they build all their own frames too because you can order it different widths, hieghts, lengths.

I've heard of Mini's with leveling jacks. But I've also heard of problems with electrical fails with them. That would have come in handy this one time in 6 years I guess. :) I needed a BOAT shaped camper. LOL

No no. Don't do this one unless you can get one of the sites I said. If you can get those sites, good for a couple of nights with Elec only. :)

We've had our share of unlevel campsites. It can take some creative thinking to get level when there are no other sites available.

I could NOT figure this one out. Ground was wet and soggy. No way unless I built a 8" ramp. LOL

@@garlandstyle5797 LOL yep one time I had to build one close to 10" high. I kept saying to myself, why doesn't the campground level the sites?
