Smith Rock for the win! Fav hack is shooting portraits on iPhone XR with 58mm to manage a bit more bokeh than with classic iPhone X/XS. Plus it allows more freedom to shoot portraits with the Moment Wide & Super Wide for more creative shots. On that note... Is it possible to shoot a portrait shot on the iPhone XR with the Anamorphic lens and still get a buttery light flair?

All in One Trends no they only repeated things other youtubers have said years ago, also the edited vs un edited the un edited looks so much better than the edited version, I wouldn’t trust them at all as photographers
@@MasterPiece-rg7ed there are so many different android phones and most current gen android phones have all if not most of these features built right into the stock camera app. its somewhat self explanatory
Great video, as always! I honestly have never thought of the water bottle/iced latte hack to support my phone. Also didn't know about exposure lock and adjustment in the native iOS camera app!
Thanks for the information. Now I think I am going to foray into the world on Mobile Photography. That will be a step down or up depending on the output of the photographs. I am used to using a DSLR (Sony) for my photography.
One of your best videos actually! Very short, hyper informative and funny! Your sincere follower and moment app supporter from Russia!) Cheers guys! Ps: my favorite hack is the Night Sight! hahaha
For iPhones, if you're out alone, and set up the phone as in the water bottle tip. You can use the camera app on the apple watch to compose yourself or take the shot with it.
Hey I was wondering if you guys could do a video diving deeper into using filters with you lenses or maybe do a video on shooting at Golden hour and blue hour. Idk just spitballing, love the videos and your lenses!!
🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬Woooooooooow🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬 Great work guys, keep it happening! I’ve sent you an email couple of weeks ago, but it looks like you’re extremely busy creating great gears fo us! So, here it is: Hi, I just made a big an order from you guys, and can’t wait to receive it and try the lenses. But I’m gonna have to wait till my sister receives them and bring them to me to Egypt. Yes, Egypt, I’m and Egyptian film director and filmmaker as well. I actually graduated from Brooks in Santa Barbra, CA. Motion Picture Major. I’ve made 3 feature films, one is an independent, first independent in Egypt was shot digital on the Canon Xl1! The second two features were normal production in Egypt, shot 35mm, and they were box office. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself because I really admire what you are doing as well as your personality. I just started following you on RU-vid, and will expect a lot from you guys. And would be really thrilled to be part of your growing team. I have a lot to offer as I am a filmmaking geek. Also, I’ve testing mobile for filmmaking for quite awhile, actually that’s how I got to know about Moment. And I’m on an going process of making a Feature using Mobile, hope I can make it! Anyway, I wish I could buy all your products at once, as I would really like to have them all, but they are bit pricey. Also, still want to test them, I feel they will be great. I also have Samsung Note 9, but I only ordered the case for the iPhone Xs Max, would the Note 9 be better? Thanks so much, looking foreword to meeting you, maybe visit Egypt and have a blast shooting. Have a great day,
hey guys...loved the tip about the "micro panoramic" with the 58! got a question about panoramic shots. My are very hit and miss. Seems when I take them a MASSIVE bow in the shot appears. Huge bend right at the point where im standing..why? what can I do so I can get a shot without that bow?
Thank you for your help. Can you please make a video about grid making apps, I have a passion with pictures and collage. I am using AP maker 'cause it's simple and it includes a lot of helpful tools. I really appreciate it if you do a video about some apps like that.
Funny that they started joking about the plugs just now when they are constantly doing that, specially about the moment app (because obviously they don't need to that for the lenses cause most of their videos are _about_ the lenses). The moment app is quite bad, i own a Pixel, so regarding to photos of course the native app will get the most out of my camera, but even in videos, filmic pro it's far, far, _far_ superior, both in image and functionalities. Don't get me wrong, i still see the moment guys videos, i get some good advice from them, i'm just a beginner and they're not, but yeah... it's nice to see i'm not the only one bugged by the shameless plugs (here or in any other channel).
Hi friends how are you guys? I'm Brazilian and follower of your channel. I live in San Francisco. My English is not very good ... I have an iphone 8 plus and I want to buy an anamorphic lens to make some videos. I wonder if I want to use the lens on an iPhone X as well? Tank you!
The Anamorphic (as well as all the other V2 lenses) are able to be mounted onto any case with the Moment V2 mount. So yes, if you buy the iPhone X Moment Case, you can mount your Anamorphic to it - as well as to your iPhone 8 Plus - as long as you have a Moment case for that as well. :)
My hack for you guys: use a gimbal! (I've got headache from this endless shaky filming... ) (content was best and fun to watch!) Greets from Germany! :-)
Notifications gang, btw can’t wait for my order to come. I just ordered every v2 lens and v1 that don’t have a v2. Cost me like $760 😂. Ordered it Sunday just waiting for it to ship and send me a email 😎
Would love to use the anamorphic lens..but I got a note 9..and my gimbal is already on his max payload..so the lens+ the holder would overload and ruin the gimbal unfortunately
As someone who's just now getting into editing images, is there a point where you can underexpose to the point where you lose data? I take a lot of shots at night and sometimes go as low as -2.0 to try and keep neon lights tamed
You can definitely crush the darks, so watch out for that! I think under or over exposing is all about choosing where to keep the data and where to be okay losing it.
Especially with smartphone sensors yeah? That's what I think as well, which is why I was astonished to see that loads of tech RU-vidrs often advise people to aim for underexposure; I could just be reading too much into it, granted, but the advice seems to be rather poorly phrased.
