Future Trunks is one of the best z fighters in Dragon Ball Z. I'm so glad to know that he's a character in the Dragon Ball Super series and hopefully he stays for longer than he did in Dragon Ball Z. The reason he didn't transform to ssj3 is because that's is a training transformation not a rage transformation

In dbs they acknowledge the blue hair when bulma asks if it's a young man with blue hair. Yet young trunks still has purple hair

SUGGESTION: Where is Bulla in DragonBall Super? In GT she was 1 year younger than Pan. Now in Super, Pan is now a canonical character, as well as being 1 year of age, and Bulma has said absolutely nothing about being pregnant again. She probably is, but possibly aren't going to say anything until the Black Goku arc is over. And that might take a while, so... VEGETA, HURRY UP AND USE GALICK GUN ON BULMA WITH YOUR DENDE, AND MAKE BULLA/BRA ALREADY!!! It's probably Goku's fault they haven't banged again yet because of that ki control deficiency that he had during the Copy Vegeta arc when he accidently instantaneously transported to Capsule Corp., into their bedroom, on their bed. That would definitely be enough to turn ME off. Why do you think Vegeta always trains with Whis? So what do you think?

Well super saiyan 3 isn't achieved through emotion like the previous forms. It basically requires you to be dead because of the strain it puts on your body.

"We don't know why Trunks's hair is blue". Take a good look at Bulma from dragon ball. Purple hair. In z she had blue hair. Now that trunks went from purple to blue everyone is freaking out because they either didn't watch or don't remember Dragon Ball. The new generation of DBZ fans are sad

What about kid trunks!? Whats their explanation there!? Sure its nitpicking but it looks like they're not even realizing it themselves. I'm almost expecting to see kid trunks have blue hair in one of the next upcoming episodes, heck they might as well change it and do the same they're doing right now, hoping we all just go with it lol

+Score PN it's still to early for our Trunks to have his blue hair change. Like Bulma, he probably won't get that until adulthood. But from looking from Dragon Ball, then DBZ, and then into Super, the purple to blue hair color is just Bulma's genes that were pasted on to Trunks. It'd be weird if Trunks' hair wasn't blue (if he is actually in his late 20s to early 30s)

Lets be real here, NOBODY KNOWS the real reason why, and as far as I can tell, the only reason why its a different color is because they fucked up lol plain n simple. Nobody's hair color changes through time unless its grey because they're getting old. Saying that his hair color is different because of Bulma is bullshit, Toriyama has messed up plenty of times so this is no surprise. The funny thing is seeing how many people think that it was intentionally planned but its obvious that it wasn't. Thats why I always make fun of it, because they try to ignore it and have the fans come up with their own conclusions. I think I've made fun of it plenty by now...or not. (^_^)
