Dib Dib z-moves and dynamax/gigantimax seem like specific region mechanics that won’t ever leave their native region. Mega evolution was used in games for gen 1, 3, 6, and 7.something to return when Pokémon games either remake a game or make another game like Pokémon battle revolution (which we need imo)
@@blackcrow9231 I wish D-max/G-max stays in Galar. By lore, it comes from Eternatus and that Pokémon is only in Sw/Sh and by community reaction, there are people who find the mechanic unfair. I hope they bring back mega evolution and z-moves and leave D-max/G-max in Galar forever
@@meepmorp7142 I wouldn't call D-max/G-maz unfair, you just have to be strategic about it. I do think, however, that D-max/G-max should stay in Galar. There's literally no way for those phenomemons to exist or be used outside of Galar.
My theory about the third legendary beast, is that, there was actually two old beta designs of Raikou and Entei, that appeared on old pre-realease Pokémon posters, but these two designs differ from the beta designs from the gold and silver space-world demo, as they are closer to the final designs, and I believe, that the three original legendary beasts, were the beta entei, beta raikou, with the original third legendary beast being the unused design, and when entei and raikou were redesigned, and replaced by their final designs, the unused legendary beast design was replaced by suicune as the third legendary beast

The actual Gogoat shiny is great IMO, it stands out so much and is so unique with the tone of green. it would be interesting to look through the internet and see if any fans recoloured the image inbetween e3 and the release as that could of potentially inspired GF.
pokemon appearance changed drastically ? lol most gender differences is a shorter horn/ear for the female, then there are pokemon like nidoran, which had separate designs to begin with. I don't know why they bother honestly..
Definitely, it wasn't necessary for all Pokémon. Some of the species they are based on don't have sex dimorphism. That's only good for Pokémon based on species that do. I think short horn female Heracross is accurate. The final heart horned one is dumb, and so on...
In the data of X, Y, OR and AS the moves of zygarde are there but unusable and wouldn't be able to be used until sun and moon. Now the moves of black and white kyurems are in black and whites data im sure but i don't think the forms can even be used in battles between the 2

You also used a video clip, and even my joke about Golurk's cannon mode being canon. Not to mention all the information, like the stuff about White Pichu -- I literally bought that Shoko book from Japan and had the Pichu segment translated into English. It's annoying to see info and images I spent time and money putting together referred to as coming from "the community," when it's obvious you're in the habit going to my site, RU-vid, and Twitter copy-pasting stuff en masse. This is about your 10th video like this. We've talked about this privately, but you keep doing it. In many cases you're not even repeating the information accurately.

Hoops copy-pasted those images/info and used it in this video. All the Gen 4 beta sprite stuff was from December -- I covered the leak, interviewed the leaker, and organized the beta sprites on my site. Hoops copy-pasted all those images and info off my website and used it in this video. In January I hired an artist to make some Lost Pokemon art, then a few days after I posted it on Twitter, Hoops was using it as his video thumbnail. To put all this info together, I've spent countless hours, plus thousands of dollars buying Japanese books, magazines, and hiring translators and artists. Hoops knows I'm not "dead," he's just swimming in my wake. Combing through my Twitter, website, and RU-vid, copy-pasting everything without crediting me, then asking viewers to support him on Patreon =/

I like the shiny Gogoat change, i'm starting to become a fan of autumn shinies every time some dislikes them (except the gross green shinies). But having gender differences would of been cool tho, but I can agree that it would time more time and effort on the models if they all had a gender difference.

Imagine in the DP remakes they include the Arceus event and it has a new Mega/Primal/Alpha form with the mystery typing. The typing resists all other types and deals normal damage against them OR all other types deal normal damage against it but the mystery typing is super effective against all types
Cannon Golurk is pretty similar to how Golurk looks when it flies in the anime and card game--legless and handless and has flames spewing out like a rocket--which isn't seen in the video games at all.
??? Type arceus was basically made as a fail safe to prevent the game from crashing if obtained through unconventional means. It's a surprisingly common thing that developers do either for debug purposes or for the off chance that players obtain content through glitches.

I was thinking that the “???” Type plate for arceus worked as a place holder for the fairy plate, but I can also see them just having the color palette be chosen by the types and Curse was still ??? Type at the time
Doesnt look like a fusion of Raikou and Suicune more like a beta Raikou design that was likely not chosen due to its color pallet bein given to Suicune and them wanting a different look after changing its colors. Blue lightling tiger didn fit well so they changed it to what we know now. Honestly though i quite like that design better for it. I like the antennas they gave it
How much y'all want a bet that we have DMax and GMax because the team needed a break from designing mega evolutions? And with Diamond and Pearl they'll bring them back? I can see it happening-it looks like the Pokemon timeline has two separate universes. One with Mega Evolution, and one without it. SwSh could easily be in a universe with no mega evolution. Diamond and Pearl being remakes could easily bring back the mechanic. And we would be able to see Mega-Flygon, Mega Sinnoh starters, perhaps mega legendaries as well.
Even in the Alola region I feel mega evolution was just kinda thrown in there and unecessary. They didn't add any new megas and just threw it in at the very end. So I could see it either way, them slowly trying to move away from it or just taking a break.
I had an amazing theory that mega evolution stones use the "dynamax energy" but instead of making them bigger it changes their form to be more advanced
I like to think Arceus was going to be mystery type when not holding a plate (there would then be a normal type plate; the Simple Plate as I call it) because why not give the God of the Pokemon world a completely unique typing?
I’m glad a lot of the gender differences didn’t happen, they just made a lot of unnecessary changes to the Pokémon that looked really ugly, but a few of them did have cool changes.
White Pichu would’ve started a 3rd form for all Pokémon called Albino Pokemon, but it was cut to not overcomplicate details of the game. It would also be a lot for the Nintendo DS (at the time) to handle. Albino Pokémon would have the main color of their body be white with the other colors on their body kept the same, maybe a little lighter or muddier in color. Maybe now that tech is better than it used to be, we can finally get Albino Pokémon
The ???-Type Arceus was likely a Failsafe in case the game couldn't work out which type it was supposed to be. Better to prepare a glitch like that than to have the whole game commit over a small coding issue. That being said; I don't see why Normal couldn't have been the default Failsafe type if this is the case.
The one thing I hate is that the electric type is always overshadowing the grass type like with the legendary birds and original eevelutions I just wish that there was a trio of Pokémon with grass water and fire that people like and yes I know about the simis
Emruff Growl electric isn’t even weak to ice, but grass is, and your Pokémon is a whole ten levels higher, that’s like me saying my level 100 Typhlosion can one shot your level 87 Feraligtr with a thunder punch
The biggest tragedy is that Pokémon world tournament never came back from black and white 2. So cool to see notable trainers not native of that region in a truly fierce tournament! As well as the one type tournament cups!
Same goes for pokemon that u remove theyre typings with moves. Like a pure fire type using that 1 move that nakes his fire typing gone for that turn, he will be typeless
Concerning Mega-Flygon and Artist's Block: I never understood how he had Artist's Block for years. Besides, Ken Sugimori is the most profilic artist of GameFreak, but by no means the only one... 4:44 Not quite. GameFreak doesn't make sprites or 3D models for the Pokémon at all anymore. Eternal Flower Floette may never be a thing again since it is not even compatible with home. If you somehow got your hands on a cheated one it can transfer to home but it has no unique Sprite.
I think Eternal Flower Floette was going to be an event in ORAS because of one thing. At the base of the tree in sootopolis city, there is a flower that looks exactly like the flower that Eternal Flower Floette is holding. that just my theory though.
It's my personal opinion that maybe, Eternal Flower Floette was cut from the game, because it was, quote, "Given eternal life," therefore it can't canonically faint, and wouldn't make sense, so they cut it.
Gen 9 is rumoured to be based in India so we might get regional forms for the vanillite line and even glalie. Imagine a dark type glalie without its ice coating
