The funny thing off that whole situation was that Hollywood Records actually bought their contract off of Battery /Jive Records and signed them where they recored The Great Milenko ,handed it in which the record label was okay with . They were at a signing for the release of the record and a tour set up as well only to find out that the record was pulled at the last minute .They went searching for a new label and found it in Island Records which then rereleased Great Milenko with 3 extra songs not available on the Hollywood version (Have both versions.) and tour and that went off without a hitch . The Island deal was for 4 albums but then Island merged with Def Jam and they let ICP's contract slide but they apparently let ICP"s contract slip through the cracks but they did get The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, Bizzar Bizaar and the national release of Twiztid's Mostasteless albums . As far as Bizzar Bizaar they did that record cause they didn't want to give them another Joker Card but still fullfilled their existing contract at the time . After that they signed with D3 Entertainment with The Wraith Shangri La which did good but then they got offerd less for vthe 2nd half of The Wraith in which they told D3 to go fuck themselves and released it on their label Psychopathic Records with distribution by Sony .Ever since then they have been independent .The Hollywood Records version of Great Milenko is a sought after collector's item . Happen to have 1 of them . Seen ICP in interviews joking about that incident and 2 years ago the 20th Anniversary Edition of Great Milenko was relased and mention of the Hollywood Records incident and all the bad press about the album is in the booklet foe the album . Speaking as a ICP fan i might be a little bit biased but liked the album and it's considered a classic . Besides Hollywood problably made sure they got their cut and Island/Def Jam has put out Best Of's of ICP from their time there so i'd say that all 3 parties are laughing all the way to the bank .

My bad on mention of Icp's contract slipping thorogh the crack twice in my statement. Then again you'll get the point regardless. lol.

Also fun fact: ICP is are fucking clown shoes.

Roger Carvalho Maybe I would appreciate the lyrics more if it didn't get vomitted and squeeled out like a pig. It's nowhere near what you can call music anymore. When lyrics needs to be presented, it is with the goal to deliver it with the intend to tell a story with feeling and intonation to enforce the message. The meaning of the lyrics here, if it has any, gets lost by the endless yelling of maniacs. But if you think that the harder you vomit out your throat the better your music, I guess I won't blame you for having such shit taste in music.

We saw that Meshuggah, Municipal Waste and Amon Amarth were allowed to play. I guess the most extreme could be Decapitated (if they solve the whole gang rape thing, and if they don't get the USA BAN Hammer) or Vader (that I know they have played in a House of Blues before)

The deal is that they´re not been banned from Disneyland or something like it, Disney own venues, a lot of venues, including the House of blues, that´s a regular venue for a lot of metal bands, so, they get banned they can´t play and have to schedule for another venue probably worse and with less people, and as you can imagine that´s bad for bussiness, still not something that stop Cannibal Corpse thou, wuh, fucking CC, Fucking Slayer, RIP Kerry Queen.

Fanbase, how offensive are their lyrics or playing style, and if they are often in controversy. That is their criteria for banning a band or not. Opeth, specially since 2010 are a lot softer and barely (if ever) have controversies. Gojira aren't that offensive (they can stand death metal) and Mastodon... Tbh, no idea.
